Advantages: Savings can be made Disadvantages: Requires personal information to be recorded,
I bought my annual season ticket from Oyster card this week.
There was a huge saving in what I was spending on weekly oyster tickets, 2 months free travel. The process was quick and simple.
I paid £600 cash for a zone 2&3 annual ticket at an train station. It took about 5 minutes.
But Oyster has not always been this simple. In fact I have mixed feelings about Oyster. When Ken Livingstone first announce the arrival of Oyster it seemed like a Godsend. But questions were soon raised about the "Big Brother" aspects of the card. Basically Oyster records and tracks your movements and keeps an account of your travel called your "History". THis is what makes Oyster a smartcard.
OYSTER THE SMARTCARD.
Oyster works a bit like a debit card. You put money in and the ticket barriers deduct what you use. Oyster tracks your movements and if ...

Advantages: fast and setup Disadvantages: Instructions
If your looking to upgrade then this is it for you although it may look terrifying it isn't and in fact it great value for money in my opinion you should definaltley by this card because of the impact is has.
Although there is one major draw back which is setting it up inwhich if your looking to set it up your self like i did then your in for a struggle because the instructions for it only go so far so and so when i tryed contacting the manufacteur for help all they did was pass me around from call centre to call centre inwhich this really racked up my phone bill and overall i ended up going to a technology shop and getting them to give me some help on installing it.
Overall it is a good product the only problem is installing it but most people tend to go to a computer shop. I m just awkward and try doing it myself. ...
Advantages: Great products at low prices Disadvantages: Long queues and some products a little tacky
from, its just there for general information such as their latest news, employment news and you can also find details of your local store on here by entering your postcode. It doesn't actually give much in the way of detail about the products on offer in their stores.
All in all I am a real fan of this store and regularly use it, especially at this time of year where I have to buy a large assortment of Christmas cards. Their range of cards is cheap, extensive and of a pretty good quality. You can always find what you need here and they do some lovely litttle gifts too. The store is always packed and the aisles aren't too wide so if you aren't a fan of crowds then you may want to avoid the store at this time of year.
A highly recommended store and my first choice when buying cards of any occasions now. ...
