One stifling summer in mid-80s Astoria, New York sees young Dito having his eyes opened to the world around him by new classmate Mike. But his widening horizons threaten to divide him from everyone he knows in his tight-knit community, especially his blinkered father and increasingly violent best friend Antonio. Writer-director Dito Montiel presents a very personal take on his own autobiographical memoir of the same name. He captures the essence of the rough neighbourhood he was brought up in; counterbalancing the sense of community with the tunnel-vision of its inhabitants. Review of A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints (DVD)

For Your Boredom

Advantages: He is a good singer
Disadvantages: He did not live up to his expectations and it was a terrible debut album

for this particular song. With brilliant guitar riffs, amazing vocals this song should have worked, however I really can?t see myself connecting with the song. Adam uses his falsetto too much and it seems way out of place. I know it?s his signature but it doesn?t work within this song. It could become a grower song, but at the moment I?m not too sure. Rating: 4/10 Track 2: For Your Entertainment I never thought I?d say this, but Adam?s vocals are drowned out within the whole song, Adam has one of the most powerful voices that I have ever heard and for some reason; he has allowed his producers to make him create a dance track. Adam what the hell are you thinking? This track has no Queen inspiration behind it, I can?t see myself dancing to it at all on the dance floor, and it?s just not a very good song at all. Hug Your Baby

Advantages: easy way to carry baby

Having previously raved about my Baby Bjorn baby carrier, it is time for me to confess to a change of allegiance when it comes to carrying my baby. Step aside Baby Bjorn and make way for the Hug-A-Bub! I had heard people raving about these carriers and decided to treat myself to one some months ago, just before my baby was due. I will confess to being slightly concerned when it arrived though. I opened the packaging to be confronted by a long piece of stretch material. That was it – no hooks or poppers, Velcro or clasps – just a long piece of material. Ok, I was confused – how on earth was I supposed to carry a baby with that!
