Head Support: The wide shoulder wraps double up to provide the most secure support for babies' head and neck. It is ideal for newborns and premature or sleeping babies. Back Support: The hug-a-bub's ergonomic design, wraps around your torso, from shoulders to hips, reducing unnecessary strain on your shoulders, neck and back. It is recommended by physiotherapists for those with some chronic back problems. Hands Free: Due to its unique wrap style, the hug-a-bub baby carrier offers a firm and secure hold that allows you to have your hands completely free. When desired, you can even bend forward without your baby dropping away from your body. Security: When worn correctly the hug-a-bub is one of the most secure baby carriers on the market. There are no clips or buckles to break or seams to come undone. It is even possible to bend over completely without fear of your baby falling out. Breast Feeding: There are two positions that may be suitable for breastfeeding your baby discretely and comfortably: either horizontally or vertically, depending on the babies size and the size of the mother's breasts. (Some women with very large breasts have expressed difficulty breastfeeding in the hug-a-bub). Weight Limit: There is no real weight limit for your baby. The hug-a-bub is suitable for babies from prematurity up to toddlerhood. As long as you still pick them up...they will feel lighter in a hug-a-bub. Safety Standards: hug-a-bub has been tested and approved by strict EU Safety Standards. Although there are Australian safety standards available for baby carriers at this time, the hug-a-bub is recognized for its safety by physiotherapists, childcare professionals, midwives, occupational therapists and is used in special care nurseries in hospitals. Advantages: easy way to carry baby Disadvantages: not easy to find
...had hands free to carry luggage.
Being all fabric, the Hug-A-Bub can be thrown in the washing machine and it dries quickly. It packs down into a small parcel easily, making it ideal to carry about in your changing bag in case of need. Also, one size fits all as it wraps around your own individual body shape, meaning you don’t have to adjust straps if both parents want to use it.
It is not a cheap baby carrier – I paid £45 for mine – and is not all that easy to come across. I haven’t seen it in any shops. You can buy online at www.nctms.co.uk or from the Hug-A-Bub site on www.hug-a-bub.com/au
In my opinion it is worth the money. I have had a lot of use from my carrier and will continue to use it for the foreseeable future. I have friends who still use theirs for their 18-month-old children.
So if you are looking...

Advantages: Easy to use Disadvantages: Don't try it with a three year-old
...Hug-a-bub is my god-send.This long slightly strechy length of fabric is responsible for peace in our house hold.
I was at a baby show with a crabby, whinging 11month old baby.Around me were these serene unruffled co-ordinated being which on closer inspection were hug-a-bub wearing moms (and one dad tho he may have been there to prove that wearing your baby was 'macho')
One of these tranquil being asked me if I wanted to try 'wearing' my daughter. She whipped out this peice of fabric and proceeded to wrap me up.She then lifted my child up and in a swift fluid movement nestled my baby against me.Baby then shut up and dropped of to sleep. She had always been a child that liked carrying but she was getting to the stage where the previous carriers, and we had tried most of them, didn't let me carry her for very long without causing backache and...

Advantages: extremely comfortable, fits all babies, all ages Disadvantages: takes a couple of minutes to put on
...I first saw this carrier on a women when I was pregnant. Her newborn baby just looked so snug.
I did a net search and ordered one the next day.
I can not live with out it.
It is a wrap-round carrier that grows with your baby.It is made of t'shirt cotton and comes with a great instructional video. Their is no weight felt on my shoulders and I can tuck my baby's head into the support straps. I feel so free because Lissa is held so securely against my bod...i can even bend over with out holding her at all. I was given a baby bjorn that I use sometimes but it doesn't come close in comfort to our hug-a-bub.
I wear it at least half of the day and when my hubby comes home he takes her for a walk and she is always asleep when he comes back.
The only thing is it can get hot if you live in a hot climate, but that is not an issue for us.

This mascara does exactly what it says on the tin. It gives amazing coverage and does not clog. When the pack is new it can come out a bit thickly so it is worth wiping excess off the brush before you use it. I usually use a cheaper mascara as an... more
