Hug your newborn with these nappies!

Advantages: Cute design, great fit, no nappy rash!
Disadvantages: None

...weeks and she is wearing Huggies Newborn size 2 nappies and my review is based on these. The size 2 is designed for babies who weigh 3-6kg and you get 40 nappies for £5.98 from Tesco stores although these are currently on offer for £5.00 per pack.

The nappies are very lightweight and pretty in design. These particular nappies have Winnie The Pooh on them and although my niece is too young to appreciate this I am a fan of the design, ...
...at shopping!). The nappies are white and have an elasticated waist allowing them to mould better to the shape of an individual baby (as we all know they can greatly vary in size!). They have a tab on either side for them to allow the sides be stuck to the front of the nappy to help prevent any leakages.

These nappy have not given my niece any nappy rash and seem to fit her very comfortable. There have been a couple of bad leakages ... more

Huggies Newborn are the worst nappies i have used

Advantages: Slightly cheaper than other brands
Disadvantages: Not very leak proof & made babys bottom very red

...have to say I think Huggies newborn are the worst I have used. Unlike Pampers newborn I found Huggies very difficult to put on my baby, the back of them never seemed to lie flat so I could never get them in the right position I also found that Huggies gave my baby a very red bottom which looked very sore. These nappies where not very leak proof either, I was forever having to change my baby due to either wee or poo going all up her back or out along ...
...nappies (and that was because we didn't buy them) and I will def not be using them again, I don't even think ill be trying any of the bigger size as I don't want to be wasting money when I know other brands are far better. These nappies cost around £4 for 27 but are often on special offer in Tesco (buy 2 for £6) which makes them a little cheaper than Pampers but I think it's worth paying the little extra to know my baby will stay dry & happy. I'm ...

Great all round nappy

Advantages: Great all rounder, nice fit, kept my baby happy and dry.
Disadvantages: Little more expensive than some brands, otherwise none.

...but I thought them well worth while the extra cost. Also look out for the newborn changing pack which is a box containing a pack of nappies, a pack of wipes and other bits and pieces including vouchers for further money off huggies which makes your next spend cheaper too. ...

Huggies newborn nappies size 1

Advantages: Soft, fit small babies well
Disadvantages: Occasional leakage

...side. Somebody told me that Huggies nappies tended to come up smaller, even though they are recommended for the same size baby as pampers, so I gave them a try. The huggies nappies did seem to come up slightly smaller and they fitted my new baby well. The nappies are lovely and soft, stretchy and well elasticated. My daughter experienced no signs of nappy rash using these nappies. Although a little small to appreciate it, the 'winnie the pooh' ...
...found that most supermarkets offered a special deal on buying two packs of the 28 pack nappies and there were also some 'Huggies' promotions being offered within the stores that gave me some money off vouchers also. I did find that there were some occasional accidents with these nappies, although this was mainly over night. Overall, I would recomment these nappies, especially if your baby is on the smaller size and I would use them again myself ...

the best nappies i've tried

Advantages: brilliant fit & good deals on them
Disadvantages: none so far

when my baby girl was born she was 8lbs, although this she was long and thin, i tried many different brands and although they are all for the same weight range these seemed to fit her better than the rest, she could wriggle them down for a builders bum effect on the tightest they went! as all nappies they are available in most supermarkets and chemists, at the moment boots are doing 3 for 2 which means you are getting 3 packs for £7.50 (also if ...

HUGGIES NEWBORN

Advantages: good elasticated legs fair price
Disadvantages: none that I know of

...look at other options. Huggies seemed a reasonable price, I paid 8.96 for 72. I bought stage 2 which are still for newborns. They state 3-6kg/7-13lb. My baby is now nearly 11lb there is hardly any marks on her legs as they are quite elasticated. They have not leaked and she seems quite dry. It states on the packet "Our Softest Ever" and they do seem to be soft. They have a picture of winnie the pooh on the front and they seem to take the wetness ...

Huggies Nappies from Newborn

Advantages: Flexible, Soft Fabric and very absorbant
Disadvantages: None

Hello All, I am a new mum of my 3 month old boy Leon and we have been trying out various nappies to see which ones are the best. Overall I was most impressed with Huggies Newborn Nappies Size 1-3 as the fabric was soft on my babys skin and the fastening left flexibility for my baby to move his legs about (which he loves doing a lot). I did also try Pampers Newborn but I found these to be very unflexible and the material they are made in to be of a course and rough texture and would rub babys skin a bit, but they are very absorbant. The most important thing to me was that my baby felt as comfortable as possible in a nappy, because obviously babies wear nappies continuously, and the nappy had to be absorbant to prevent any further discomfort. This is why I will say Huggies Nappies are overall the best nappy I have tried so far and I will ...

Three cheers for Asda nappies.

Advantages: Very absorbant, excellent fit.
Disadvantages: None can think of.

Before my daughter was born I began to stock up on essentials like nappies, wipes and toiletries. I bought four packs of Asda Newborn (24) for £2.47 each and one pack of Pampers Newbaby (48) for £6.99. To be honest I was much more impressed with the Asda nappies than the Pampers as they seemed to fit better and didn't leave any marks on the skin around the tops of her legs and her stomach, as nappies invariably do. I have to admit that the Pampers Total Care nappies (for poo too) will absorb almost anything but they do seem to have forgotton about comfort. Asda nappies are also quite a bit cheaper than big brand names. For instance 24 Asda Newborn nappies £2.47 28 Pampers Newborn nappies £3.78 28 Huggies Newborn nappies £3.66 Those extra four nappies seem to make the price quite ...

Review of Asda Nappies

Huggies aren't for everyone

Advantages: A wide variety of products and sizes
Disadvantages: Can leak and cause soreness

I have used numerous different nappy brands on my Son and I found that Huggies, although they are one of the more expensive brands, very disappointing. I first tried the size 1 newborn nappies, i had also bought Pampers and Tesco own brand. As soon as I started putting him in the Huggies he started to get a very red bottom that made him cry out in pain when i tried to clean him up. I also found that they leaked overnight and the little absorbant balls from inside the nappy where coming out! I got half way through the pack before I gave up on them. A few months ago I thought I would try them again and went for the Huggies Natural Fit nappies. They claim to be shaped to fit the baby better and have unbeatable absorbency. After 2 nappy changes I notice my sons bottom was begining to get very red, so I smothered him in a barrier cream ...
