We found this product very usefull when we were away from the house but more as protection than a potty training tool. Due to the fact that they are so adsorbent it can mean that your child doesnt know when they have wet so they do not teach your child of the consequences of wet pants (namely an uncomfortable feeling). The time has come. Your child is ready to leave nappies behind and move onto 'real' pants. The problem is that while your child is learning hes likely to have the odd little 'accident'.

They have tear away side seams so they are easy to remove in case your child has a messy 'accident'. We found this product very usefull when we were away from the house but more as protection than a potty training tool. Due to the fact that they are so adsorbent it can mean that your child doesnt know when they have wet so they do not teach your child of the consequences of wet pants (namely an uncomfortable feeling). We also found that they can make parents lazy as well! There were a few times when we were in the car and our little boy wanted a wee that we told him to go in the pants because we didnt have time to stop.
We had first bought them because the ads made them seem very appealing. A way to allmost 'magically' train your child. This is somewhat of an illusion, however. The latest advert also does not point out about the fading feature when the child wets which is a shame because this is a good feature of the product.
They are readily available from most supermakrets and are priced at about £5.99 for a pack of 14 (although they do seem to be on offer fairly frequently).
Advantages: Easy to adjust, slimline, attractive Disadvantages: None I can think of
Fabulous product - I'm glad my daughter nagged me to get them after seeing the ad showing the Disney Princesses on the pink nappies! She found them very comfortable and easy to take down and pull up again, which after all is the whole point! They're also great for using at the beach as you can undo the Velcro style fastenings at the side. My little girl is quite slim, so it was a relief to find some potty training nappies which we could easily make ... ...as many "normal" nappies, which also helps to make a young child feel a bit more grown up. I would definitely recommend paying out a bit extra for the privilege of having Cinderella and friends on the nappies - my daughter didn't want to make them sad by getting "their" nappy wet, and made the final leap to being fully potty trained within 3 weeks! ...

Advantages: easy to remove and absorbant Disadvantages: the price
Huggies pull ups are brilliant. I cant think what i did without them. I have two children one seven and one 4. my younger daughter needs them for medical reasons but i have to be honest i don't rember using them for my older daughter but i do rember washing lots of wet knickers.
These pull ups are avaliable in four different sizes from small to xtra large the amount you get in a packet differs from the size in the xtra large weight being 17+ kg ... ...£4.99 although quite often they are on special offer. they are found in the nappy section and are avaliable almost everywhere where nappys are. they are the same as nappys so ideal to travel with at that important potty training time.
you can get girl (pink ) or boy (blue) types but both have mickey mouse on them. they also have a fading design that once an accident has occured the design disapears. they have just improved them which normally means ...
