I feel that it's not to strong and it does smell like proper men's after shave. Many of the new men's fragrances can smell more and more like perfume. It has a crisp sweet smell and I think it's quite refreshing. I know this description is really bad so this is how the Hugo Boss website describes it:
"Boss No. 6 Cologne by Hugo Boss, Launched by the design house of boss in 1999. Its fragrant nature explores essences of fern, bergamot and pineapple. Blended with notes of lavender,â juniper and geranium, boss # 6 is a casual type of fragrance."
I could never have told you what was in it I just know it smells great and my wife loves it so I suppose that's all that matters.
My wife is also allergic to allot of different perfumes and after shaves but she seems to be ok with some of the Hugo Boss range. There must be something in other aftershaves that Hugo Boss doesn't use.

The price is good as well. I only ever buy after shaves from the discount companies as I feel that the main high street chemists are over priced. For a 30ml bottle the cheapest I have ever got it for is around £20. If you go to Boots or The House of Fraser you will pay closer to £30, even the duty free at the airport can't compete with the discount fragrance shops or the likes of Semi Chem. In the last 6 months two discount fragrance shops have gone bust!
Overall I think it's a brilliant high quality aftershave, I work as an area sales manager and this is the one I use most. Its not overpowering and I would ware it for every day use but still be happy to put it on for a night out with my wife.

Hugo Boss has been around for a long time now and I've had a bottle of it since I was at A-level College. This stuff always smells nice and is good for any occasion and all ages. It is quite a sweet smell but not really to comparable to anything in nature if you like your aftershaves "au natural".
Hugo Boss still remains my favourite male smell from the Hugo range. It was the first aftershave I ever used really and I have met more people that use ... ...The price tag for Hugo Boss is a definite plus which comes out cheaper than a lot of the decent competition and the packaging is also nice and straightforward in a classically designed bottle.
The smell is distinctive without being overpowering and is a subtle aftershave to use. It's not good if you pile it on in bucket loads to clog the corridors of your local office with the smell but a couple of squirts and you'll smell good enough to eat.... ...

Like all Hugo Boss products, BOSS is excellent. I first tried this fragrance through ordering an online sample. Thesample was one-use only. I threw the packaging away after using it and forgot the name of it. I stumbled across this in Superdrug the other day and bought a 50ml bottle for £22.50 or so. Like with all of my other perfumes, I combine it with a minature version (from bodycare) so the fragrance doesn't fade away. The bottle is of a great ... ...on. The fragrance smells great and I really like it. It suggests the smell of vanilla to me and I don't know why. Maybe because I'm imagining things, I don't know. I suggest you buy this. It is a bit expensive but it is well worth it. Again, shop around because prices can vary a lot from store to store. I suggest Superdrug.

What a aftershave just all i can say,What a great aftershave this is my favourite from all the aftershaves out there to me its way better than Armani,Lacoste and the rest of the aftershaves which you see out there claiming to be the best.

This aftershave i normally tend to buy from Boots, as i dont trust buying products like this on the Internet as some can be fake to what they look like.You can pick this up ... ...i picked up mine again two days ago for 32.Some people would say its a bit expensive for a perfume but its worth it.

This is a classic fragrance never too be forgotten and i doubt that it will, if your looking for a reasonably priced aftershave that will wear long smell great and garantee a pull( well..) then this is one of the best good for both daily wear and for nights out etc its a flexible aftershave which has smooth base fragance which lasts for a long time, downsides are that just after you apply the aftersahev it tends to sting a little but doesnt irritate ... ...and stinging quickly subsides.I would recommend this aftershave to absolutly anyone it lasts in terms of amount as well as little is needed to keep smelling good throughout the day just a few dabs at most so it is cost effective if this was even to enter your mind.It comes in a sleek packaged bottle and won't turn you wrong. ...

HugoBoss is a fashion house that has been selling designer men's clothing since the 1920s. They launched the Hugo fragrance back in 1995, and it continues to be a bestseller today. It's my favourite aftershave, which is handy, as it's also my husband's favourite - although it does tend to make Christmas and birthday presents slightly predictable!
Obviously the most important thing about an aftershave is how it smells, but if it came in a very fancy, ornate bottle then I doubt my husband would want to have it sitting on the bathroom shelf. Fortunately, Hugo is self-consciously butch; the clear, slightly blue-tinted, glass bottle is shaped like a military water canteen, complete with a green bendy strap to retain the lid when it's removed. The lid itself is silver with deep grooves around the top, with a light, "army" green plastic ...
