‘Boss’ is a fragrance that any man, of any age, could wear for just about any occasion. Less fruity than Hugo, it has a wonderful fresh and clean scent and is slightly sweeter, much muskier and very very sexy without seeming at all feminine. Intoxicating and heady (without being so strong that it makes your head ache!), it changes subtly throughout the day as the base notes come to the fore. It’s a hard one to describe in words, but is a long lasting fragrance that will intoxicate you completely.
I can only really describe it as very romantic. Picture moonlit walks on the beach on a warm summer’s night hand in hand with the man of your dreams, and imagine how you’d like him to smell. Very clean, without being too ‘scented’ and with a hint of musk that is just irresistible to your nostrils! Your man will always smell as if he’s just stepped out of the shower if he wears Boss. So many fragrances for men can be quite bitter and even acidic, this one isn’t. It’s probably the sweetest men’s fragrance I’ve ever discovered but at the same time, there is nothing feminine about it, nor does it offend your nostrils by being too strong or cloying.
The top notes are distinctly masculine, combining a blend of citrus and woody fragrances and as the scent settles on your man’s skin, it changes subtly to a fresher and sweeter scent, with a hint of apple, amber, bergamot and pine in particular. Almost like a fresh clean talcum powder in fragrance after a time, it’s incredibly long lasting too. One application will find your man smelling fresh and clean throughout the entire day without being overpowering.
Boss is housed in very simple and masculine packaging, a clear sturdy glass bottle with a grey/black lid. The bottle has the letters of BOSS embossed down one side and dark lettering down the other.
Pricewise, it certainly isn’t the cheapest you’ll find. Expect to pay at least £35 for the 100ml size Eau de Toilette spray and £25 for the 50ml size but in my opinion, is worth every penny! If you’re looking for a classic men’s fragrance that is long lasting and predominantly fresh smelling, yet warm with a hint of spice, then Boss is definitely for you. It’s totally intoxicating! Go get him some now girls! :O)

I first came across Boss by accident. I was going through my label junkie phase and needed my next hit. I walked in to House of Fraiser and picked up a bottle of Boss and gave myself a little spray here and there. Not knowingly that I just contaminated myself (a gal) with a men’s fragrance: it was love at first smell.
Now Ladies, I know what you’re thinking but seriously give Boss for Men a go. I’ve worn this on several occasions and I cannot describe ... ...girls on the street ask what I’m wearing, and even the guys appear to like lingering around my neck just that little longer. Yes, Boss is a deeply sexy and sweet fragrance on a man, but trust me; it’s even better on a woman. Because Boss is a sweet and citrus like fragrance anyone can pull it off. HUGO BOSS BOSS We were sitting in church on Sunday and I kept getting a whiff of a really nice smell. You know when you keep on wanting to smell something again and again. I asked Jim what aftershave he had on and he said Insignia. The bottle is really chunky it is almost a square 3ins by 3 ¼ INS
Its clear glass with an indented rectangle with BOSS after-shave lotion après resage. Which means after-shave in French (I did French at school). LOL It has a chunky black screw cap

Coming up to my birthday I noticed I was running out of fragrance. Nightmare! A good fragrance gives me confidence when having a night out and not having to worry about being ‘smell-less’. Opening up my presents I kept thinking, “Where are the smellies??” None until the second to last present which, upon opening, I found a new scent that I hadn’t heard of before, “Hugo Boss – Boss”.
Eager to try it out I opened up the two-tone grey box and pulled ... ...It had indented lettering on the side of the bottle which spelt out “Boss”.
Upon spraying this Eau De Toilette I noticed it was quite strong but smelt really nice. It has a fresh and clean scent, it’s musky, and quite sweet. Suitable for any aged male I’d say, and can be worn to pretty much any occasion. I’ve worn it at weddings, parties, christenings and even work.

I have been using this Eau de Toilette for about five years now. My wife really likes it and no matter what other after shaves I buy I always go back to HugoBoss Bottled.
I feel that it's not to strong and it does smell like proper men's after shave. Many of the new men's fragrances can smell more and more like perfume. It has a crisp sweet smell and I think it's quite refreshing. I know this description is really bad so this is how the HugoBoss website describes it:
"Boss No. 6 Cologne by HugoBoss, Launched by the design house of boss in 1999. Its fragrant nature explores essences of fern, bergamot and pineapple. Blended with notes of lavender,â juniper and geranium, boss # 6 is a casual type of fragrance."
I could never have told you what was in it I just know it smells great and my wife loves it so I suppose that's all ...

YOu can buy this from many places like your local boots or super drug or any perfumery. SOme chemists also stock it. Best prices are found on the net though try fragrancenet. They sell everything and some without the boxes so it makes it cheaper.
This perfume is highly reccomend for everybody including the girliest of girls to your mothers, daughters and grandaughters - give it a try! ...

Like all HugoBoss products, BOSS is excellent. I first tried this fragrance through ordering an online sample. Thesample was one-use only. I threw the packaging away after using it and forgot the name of it.
I stumbled across this in Superdrug the other day and bought a 50ml bottle for £22.50 or so. Like with all of my other perfumes, I combine it with a minature version (from bodycare) so the fragrance doesn't fade away.
The bottle is of a great design. It is a clear bottle with the name embossed on. The fragrance smells great and I really like it. It suggests the smell of vanilla to me and I don't know why. Maybe because I'm imagining things, I don't know.
I suggest you buy this. It is a bit expensive but it is well worth it. Again, shop around because prices can vary a lot from store to store. I suggest Superdrug ...
