Advantages: Fantastic lecturers, module selection, renouned, interesting courses
Disadvantages: One or two poor modules, sometimes admin a bit poor

I have been tutored by some amazing, funny, approachable and lively members of staff (watch out for the medieval historians, they're the best and most enthusiastic!). I do rate MOST modules, besides I would called the "historical research and writing" module of 1st year poor, dull and badly structured. American Studies at Keele

Advantages: Great tutors, department is in the top 5 of the UK
Disadvantages: They assume you know lots about the subject

Review of American Studies

The department which hates students

Advantages: None, unless you like being a non-person
Disadvantages: Poor department, bad attitude

In fact, if you want to take a social science approach to the subject, you're simply persona non grata in the department. History at Keele

Advantages: Great scenery, fun lecturers, wide range of topics
Disadvantages: Disorganistion of admin
