Having this product for over a year now im still unsure whether it was actually worth the money, living in an area with honestly pretty shocking analogue TV reception we were kind of forced to go digital, which definately was a good idea. The large number and variety of channels means there is always something to watch on TV. The reason we chose to convert to freeview digital was due to the poor reception we got with sky, constantly having trouble with the box freezing and having to reset the whole system. I have to admit the freeview box has really worked well, the problems of freezing have been a thing of the past, get a few problems in extremerly bad weather but otherwise excellent reception. THe box itself is a lot smaller than i anticipated and is barely noticable under the system we have set up. The only small problem i have with it is the limted HD reception, admitedly it does look a lot better than normal digital. But it may just be the area i am in but i only have 1 dedicated HD channel. The rest have to be found by using the red button on the normal show. And even then the only HD tv seems to be football or tennis, admitedly for me it is not a bad thing. Im sure the variety can only get better though. Maybe doesn`t justify the expensive but is a solid all round freeview box.
