Excitedly bought this when first released over a year ago for high definition. After all this time we still barely have one and a half HD channels. It seems there have been problems (perhaps with monopolistic Sky?) and there's no more free satellite HD on the horizon? Instead it seems we have to take a backward step and purchase the new HD freeview box about to be released if we want more HD?
The other annoying thing about this Foxsat HD box is that the SD pictures are poor most of the time and consequently I have to revert to my Sony Freeview recorder's tuner for good pictures in standard definition which is mostly superb. I only use the Foxsat HD box for high definition. This chopping and changing between boxes is a nuisance. The final issue I have is that the BBC HD channel's programmes are not widely listed. They are not shown on the Freeview channel list or the Daily Mail's TV Guide so you have to switch to the Foxsat box just to find out what's on on one channel!
At the present time people should wait to see what the new Freeview HD has to offer before buying this box.
