Review of Kong Dog Toy

dog toy

Advantages: great fun
Disadvantages: none

As my dog is getting older his enthusiasm in playing with toys is getting less, he no longer wants to play alone and will only play if you play too. When we are out for walks we usually take a tennis ball with us, i throw it , he chases it but will not bring it back, he just leaves it where it lands for me to pick up which is some times easier said than done if it goes into long grass, we have lost many a ball due to this. Eager to find out what all the fuss was about (it's just a dog toy, right?), I took the plunge and purchased a medium sized classic Kong. As far as dog toys go, these are pretty pricey - anywhere up to £13.99, depending upon size, strength and design. The one that I got - the classic design - was red, and like a round, cone shape that was hollow in the middle. It's difficult to describe; think of 3 red, rubber donuts in descending size stacked on top of one another and you might be just about there! There are several other varieties - some are made of a kind of strong tennis ball material, some of Frisbee shaped, some ...
