...2002 and Rambus was to be the new gold standard in memory. My Dell 8200 had 256 mb Rimm Memory. Alas the inferior DDR memory took over the market and all those who needed Rambus upgrades were left out. The cost of upgrading the Ram is just not worth it. Dell is the worst on pricing but others are also expensive for ECC modules. As the memory has to be installed in pairs, one cannot simply add a 1gb module but 2 512mbs. I gave up and bought a new PC with DDR3 Ram memory of 1gb and added another gigabyte of Orca memory for good measure and it was still cheaper than buying a memory rimm upgrade alone. Rambus/Rimm nice idea for would be lottery winners. My advice turn your Rambus PC into a Linux back up and buy a new Computer and add Hypertec, Orca or Kingston DDR3 ram modules and have a meal out on the money left over... Read review

...Finally i have got the system which starts with less than 30 seconds.This version of apples iMAC is fully loaded with the 250 GB of Hard Drive and Maximum ram. For a animator like me the big screen , Feather touch ultra slim Key board and almost an error free system is like a best . The newly launched Leopard operating system which is like a cherry on the cake .Considering apples regular fans this system is totally new and unexpected. System lacks little bit in interface still manage to make its way to the competitive market.For high-end programmers and animators this system is proving its best. From my side its cool and affordable and windows users its time to change your PC . Multimedia is a strongest part i have noticed while working on it. Advantages: good storage capacity - lightweight, looks nifty - no drivers required

.... No external power source or charging is required and one of the best features apart from the large storage capacity is that fact that it weighs no more than a few grams. It really is hard to tell you are carrying it around. With 2GB of storage space I have come nowhere near saving enough powerpoint presentations or spreadsheets to my pen drive to fill it but have found it invaluable when giving presentations at third party locations whereby instead of providing any graphics needed I can take them along with me on the drive. I would only really say buy this if you are a business user or regularly transfer huge files between various locations that don't have internet access.... Read review
