Manufacturer's product description
New Multi-Tower Configurations allow up to 25 or more CopyWriter DVD towers to be daisy-chained together. DVD-PRM NET-10 is an additional ten-recorder tower which includes cables to connect to other NET-20 or NET-10 systems. If purchasing multiple NET-20 systems to connect together, an additional cable - 3M-NET2-1.0 - is required for each additional NET-20 system. Verification Mode Microboards towers support Bit-to-Bit Data Verification, ensuring a perfect burn every time. (Data Disc Only) For CD-Audio and CD-XA (Extra) a basic disc read check is performed. Supported Formats Microboards towers support virtually every format. Supported DVD Formats include DVD Video, DVD ROM, DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, and Dual Layer DVD. Supported CD Formats include: CD-DA (Red Book) CD-ROM Modes 1&2, XA Forms 1&2, ISO 9660, Photo CD, CD-Extra, Mixed Mode, Video CD, Hybrid CD, HFS. DVD Duplicators do not record CD+G Format. Track Extraction mode allows the user to create custom Audio CDs by uploading tracks from masters to the Hard Drive and then burning the compilation to CD. Image Archival permits the user to store disc images dynamically on the hard drive. Copy & Verify mode causes the duplicator to check each copy after the recording process is completed, ensuring a perfect burn on every copy.

...This DVD drive is a good little unit, and was more reasonably priced than the Pioneer 10x which looks very similar..!! I've thrown all sorts of media at this drive including many brands of CD-RW etc and it has coped with them all. DVD playback is superb, no faults i can mention. Installation was very easy. very little to do in the sense of setting it up, but this is generally the same with most DVD drives.
There is a little jerkyness on ejection of media which is more noticable on thicker DVDs but there have been no problem other than that. The new faster breed of DVDs have now come out, with no apparent use so far so hopefully it should be possible to get one of these older units cheaper, which would be well worth the money. I'll recommend this unit to anyone....

Advantages: Multi tasking, quality, fast Disadvantages: availability, cost, has to be installed in pairs
...2002 and Rambus was to be the new gold standard in memory. My Dell 8200 had 256 mb Rimm Memory. Alas the inferior DDR memory took over the market and all those who needed Rambus upgrades were left out. The cost of upgrading the Ram is just not worth it. Dell is the worst on pricing but others are also expensive for ECC modules. As the memory has to be installed in pairs, one cannot simply add a 1gb module but 2 512mbs. I gave up and bought a new PC with DDR3 Ram memory of 1gb and added another gigabyte of Orca memory for good measure and it was still cheaper than buying a memory rimm upgrade alone. Rambus/Rimm nice idea for would be lottery winners. My advice turn your Rambus PC into a Linux back up and buy a new Computer and add Hypertec, Orca or Kingston DDR3 ram modules and have a meal out on the money left over...
