Well worth a look...
Advantages: Looks, Speed & Comfort Disadvantages: Fuel consumption, visibility
...the thought of getting a Hyundai Coupe on my mind. However I was walking across the car park and this jumped out at me.
The first thing you realise is how sleek and sporty the car looks. It looks so much more expensive than you pay. Also, its kitted out with all of the mod cons including leather seats and air con etc...
Whilst driving I find the car is a little sluggish off the mark but when it gets to about 3 1/2 - 4 revs the thing absolutely ... ...even the Hyundai badge can stop that.
The only negatives i am experiencing is fuel consumption, not even getting anywhere near 30 mpg. The other problem is that it has the turning circle of a double decker bus.
Due to visibility being quite poor i've fitted the car with number plate reversing sensors in order to give me a clue where the back end is.
The depreciation doesn't matter too much because you don't have to pay too much for it in the first ...

Is it a real sports car???
Advantages: cheap, reliable & looks great Disadvantages: not as sporty as it looks
...from it. The hyundai coupe has a special way of fooling you into thinking that it's a hard core sports car from the moment you sit inside one. As you look into the wing mirrors from the drivers seat and you see those rear arches flare up, it makes you think that you're in an Ascari A10 or some kind of ferrari. Unfortunately you are reminded that it is indeed just a family coupe when you start to drive it. The handling is not all that great and they ... ...all that, the hyundai coupe still has a lot going for it. Lets start at the way it looks which is superb, it has lots flares and curves which always suggests it's sporty credentials. The Hyundai Coupe has a very large boot which means it's actually very practical, there is also good leg room in the rear which is something a lot of coupe's have a lack of. For a car of it's age it has very good interior it's almost space age like and the seats are ...

Hyundai's Poor Quality
Advantages: None Disadvantages: Lots of issues
I own an Accent from 1998 and have only 92.000 klms. I always drive "gently". In the long term, I EXPERIENCED ALL THESE PROBLEMS:
a) it has poor construction quality, b) it appears often mechanical and electrical malfunctions, c) the fuel consumption usually is bigger than this described by its book, d) it has expensive genuine parts so a very EXPENSIVE SERVICE, e) it burns lots of oils inside its engine (so, I have to carry always Oil with me!!!). ...

The long and the (very) short: Hyundai's newest model
Advantages: Cheap purchase price, low running costs, ideal in urban areas, comfortable, 5 year warranty Disadvantages: Not in the slightest prestigious, looks that aren't to everyone's taste
...owner of a spanking new Hyundai i10. I started seriously looking at alternatives for my Peugeot in July, by which time the oil stains on the drive, a slipping clutch and rusting exhaust were a small indication of what lay ahead at the MOT in October. Why this car?
In short the amazing price of a brand new car. The alternative was, obviously, to trade Pepe the Peugeot 106 for a second hand car, but I imagine my cherished 15 year old car would ... ...Richard on here suggested the Hyundai range. All I knew at the time was that Hyundai was a South Korean company. Perhaps not a company that blazes trails, they do nevertheless have a solid reputation for building cheap yet decent cars which come with 5 year warranties.
Two test drives later, I happily raided my piggy bank for the purchase price of an i10.
So what exactly is my new pride and joy?
My specific model is an i10 Classic. The i10 ...

Hyundai Getz 1.3 Gsi
Advantages: good mileage and low insurance group. Disadvantages: not built for families, but is great for me ( a student)
I have a 2003 '52' Getz thats done under 69,000 miles. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Another review here mentions that the car has problems after 60.000 miles, but i've had none. The only thing i have had to change is the ratchet on the handbrake, but that was due to a friend borrowing the car and not pressing the button when lifting the brake (as you should)!! I intend to have my car for many years to come, and don't envisage having ...
