Advantages: Good Looking, Sporty To Drive, Well Presented Disadvantages: High Petrol Consumption and High Road Tax
I have a 54reg coupe v62.7. It is the most amazing car I have ever owned. It looks wonderful on the road and drives like a dream.The car also has auto gear box, with sports mode so yes it is quite heavy on petrol and the road tax is fairly high. The interior is a nice mix of leather and chrome (not brash and cheap) just luxurious. The road holding is superb and it is amazing to drive. when I first bought it I did have to make do with a lot of negative comments like why did you buy that? I thought you were getting a proper car etc etc. Buts that all gone now. I actually sold my car 10 months ago for family reasons but after having a fiesta for this time I saw the car back for sale as the new owners couldn't afford to keep it on the road, and I bought it back.That's how much I like it. I agree the rear end can be solid but you forget ...
Advantages: Looks Disadvantages: Thirsty - an uncool brand
At the time of my most recent mid-life crisis I was looking for a car which might liven up a rather dull daily 50 mile round trip to work. I couldn't bare another bloody mondeo. Then at the car auctions I see a Hyundai Coupe - I didn't know what it was - but it was beautiful. That about sums it up. There are fewer better looking cars on the road. I was concerned that my friends my take the micky out of me with this Korean upstart, but as soon as they saw it, like me they loved it too.
It goes pretty well and around bends it is impecible. Mine is a 2.7V6 and it is very thirsty - you can drive it sensibly by keeping a careful eye on the mpg meter. I tried this for a week or so and improved consumption to about 24mpg. It was so dull however that I gave up. ) to 60 in about 8 seconds is too much fun!! The interior is fine with nice ...

We bought second hand but with a shortage of second hand models the choice was limited. We got very lucky with the model we found at a local dealer.

These Korean cars are well made, reliable and packed with features for much less than more prestige marques.
Seating positions and comfort are good throughout. Driving position is excellent and very comfortable with all controls within easy reach ...
