I've got the 2.0 CRTD CDX version and it is packed with features. Inside, there are heated front seats, cup holders front and rear, and loads of little handy storage pockets. The standard equipment also includes electric tilt slide sunroof/mirrors/windows, front fog lamps, cruise control, 6 spoke alloys (with alloy spare), auto-dimming rear-view mirror and compass. The little touch which I felt nice was, in the boot, a luggage net is included stopping your suitcases rolling around. As an optional extra, I went for the security glass in the back and it looks really nice.

The fuel economy hasn't been as good as that published but I think it's more to do with all the town driving I've been doing. It's very nippy and agile in town for such a big car, and on the open road, it has decent enough acceleration. Looks wise, it is very stylish.
Overall, for the price, and what you get with it, it's certainly one to consider, and this is coming from someone who owned a Toyota RAV4 before this one.

...rated reliabilty as good only because its a little early to rate as excellent. We have developed a minor problem with the CD/radio but we aim to have corrected under the warranty.
A massive plus for Hyundai is their standard 5 year warranty.

Advantages: Great value and fantastic warranty Disadvantages: a little sluggish
I've had my 2L petrol Tucson for just over a year and have had 20K miles of comfortable, trouble free motoring.
Sure, it doesn't burn-up the BMW at traffic-lights, and it's not as cavernous as the rather uglier Santa Fe, - but it provides a pretty decent compromise, and got me to work in the South Wales Valleys through the recent snow and ice.
The Tucson seats five in comfort, and the high seating and good visability helps stop my children get ...

Advantages: practical and reliable Disadvantages: ugly
...much but get past the Hyundai Tucson's boss-eyed headlamps and bulbous bodywork and you have a gem of a 4x4.
The Tucson was launched in the UK in August 2004 and built on Hyundai's reputation for producing cut-price alternatives to the mainstream models. Although it was significantly cheaper when new than a Toyota RAV4 or Honda CR-V some dismissed the Tucson, predicting that poor residual values would mean it would end up costing more in the long ... ...petrol engines and a diesel, Hyundai also offered buyers the choice of five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmissions. The entry-level 2 litre petrol engine produced 139bhp, enough to power it to 60mph in around 11sec and give a top speed of nearly 110mph.
For buyers unconcerned with off-road ability there was also a two-wheel-drive version offering a saving of £1,000 over the 4x4 equivalent. But sales were only modest and used examples ...

I have no intention to drive off a proper metalled road (at least not deliberately), nor do I indulge in the daily school run with hordes of kids, bags, PE kit and the like. However when we changed the car last May we did decide to buy a 4x4 HyundaiTucson (pronounced Toooson) 2.0 CRTD CDX.
Curiously the manufacturer describes this as a Sports Utility Vehicle or SUV. Now my image of a sports vehicle is low slung, cramped, goes like mad, makes heads turn; so certainly not like this chunky beast.
Best described as large 5 door hatchback, it is a budget offering from Korea. Indeed the Kia Sportage shares the same Corporate ownership, running gear, many panels and fundamental designs as this one. However the Sportage retails approx £1000 cheaper than this model so the devil is in the detail of the specifications. Also Kia don ...

its way better. but of cource it ccosts more. its olmost double of what santa fe offers. We traded our santa fe in for a Tucson and paid an extra $14,000 can.
