I think Hyundai has produced another good mid-price, mid-quality LCD monitor.

The best aspect of this monitor is, it's 160 degrees viewing angle with nice color depth of 24-bit (16.7 million colors). The max resolution is 1680 x 1050 (wide screen), which is not HD but it is high enough (it is better then so called HD-ready), so new movies and documentaries will look very good.

The whole family can enjoy watching it, because it's wide viewing angle allows the LCD to be watched from ever you want (except for 20 degrees in most right and left corner).

It's response time is one of the greatest thing about this monitor. It is only 2ms, which put this monitor very high on the list for playing first person shooting video games, where timing is almost everything that matters. I am playing Counter-Strike and Call Of Duty on this LCD and I have nothing to complain about.

The consumption power of 45 watt is not the lowest in the industry, but it is quite low, so your electricity bill won't be so high.

The screen is big, it measure's 22", which makes this monitor very good for watching movies or doing some work that requires many programs or/and files to be open at the same time. My work in Microsoft Office on this LCD is really relaxing indeed.

On the back panel it has VGA and DVI-I interfaces which are enough for any regular user. My personal opinion is, that it could have another DVI interface., but I do not count as regular user. :)

The dynamic contrast of 3000:1 is little low I think, because other companies like Toshiba and Samsung are making a lot of monitors with contrast of 5000:1 or more at the same price for product. So the dark areas or pure black color filled background in movies or video games could look more like really dark grey if you compare the picture against LED tv's or plasmas, but that is just one of the down side of the LCD tv's.

The monitor also has in-build stereo speakers, which produces good sound, but that's all. Nothing special. They are good in some small rooms, but if you like to listen to good music or hear excellent sound effects in video games it is obvious you must buy additional speaker set, preferably in 5.1 or even in 7.1.

Mounting is easy. It is adjustable by height and pivot and works great. It has also wall mount that comes with the packet. My monitor sits on my working desk, right in the center of my view and it is very stable.

For the last topic about this LCD I must say it is easy to use, it is compatible with Windows Vista ( I personally use Windows XP), so there is no need for any drivers at all. You just plug in the monitor and enjoy. If you wish you can install the program support you get from CD that comes with the monitor, so you can adjust some special settings. It is usable, but nothing special.

In my opinion on one hand this is good monitor, with wide viewing angle, good colors, excellent response time, easy mounting and easy install.

On the other hand I must say, it's contrast ratio isn't that good, it is not in HD resolution, it does not has very good speakers and has only 1 DVI-I and VGA interfaces.

I suggest this monitor to players of video games that requires fast response times and to all others that want to have good quality 22" LCD monitor that works great in all situations.
