Hyundai Coupe 1.6

To put this quite simply from the start........ No it's not. But, do not let that put you off buying one.

I owned one of these cars for 2 years and it lived up to every single expectation that I could have asked from it.

The hyundai coupe has a special way of fooling you into thinking that it's a hard core sports car from the moment you sit inside one. As you look into the wing mirrors from the drivers seat and you see those rear arches flare up, it makes you think that you're in an Ascari A10 or some kind of ferrari. Unfortunately you are reminded that it is indeed just a family coupe when you start to drive it. The handling is not all that great and they like to take there time getting from 0-62. Having said all that, the hyundai coupe still has a lot going for it. Lets start at the way it looks which is superb, it has lots flares and curves which always suggests it's sporty credentials. The Hyundai Coupe has a very large boot which means it's actually very practical, there is also good leg room in the rear which is something a lot of coupe's have a lack of. For a car of it's age it has very good interior it's almost space age like and the seats are very comfortable too. The most surprising factor more me I have to say was it's fuel economy as I was regularly churning out between 35-40 mpg.

For all those parents out there who are looking for a first car for there children, look no more as in my opinion the Hyundai coupe falls into this category perfectly. The car looks great and is only in group 9 insurance which means it's very cheap to insure. You can a good one of these up for as little as £600 which I have to say is an absolute steal for a car of this caliber.
