Advantages Only up to the point of paying
Disadvantages Dishonest, over priced, very poor after sales service
I found a Subaru Forester with a low mileage of 50000 km and high grades through the IBC website. IBC offered to bid for it and i agreed - my first mistake as the price fixed in the end was very high. Now i suspect they probably hiked it themselves considerably as i never got the auction documents. When IBC got it they even graded it higher to 5.0 (the best grade). All seemed great and i paid. When i got the car after shipping I saw that the tyres were bald, the windscreen was starred (and it passed the JEVIC test with the tyre and windscreen problems!) and it had scratches and dents. In addition, the pipes in the engine compartment had been spray painted black - all looked new! On driving there were immediately strange vibrations. In the end the workshop changed lots in the gearbox, replaced the shock absorbers and brakes and removed huge amounts of rust from underneath. A huge bill resulted. Parallel to the workshop fixing it IBC asked for workshop reports, quotations and shipping documents, giving me the impression some compensation was possible. I supplied them all they askled for but all they offered was a tiny discount off my next purchase!! All further letters were ignored. Based on this result i cannot recommend them at all.
