ROCKETSHIP X-M
=
A real find this film, ok it's grossly inaccurate when it comes right down to the factual science but it is still a superb film.
The story is basically about the crew of rocketship X-M and there adventures. They set out to land on the moon and set up an untouchable space base. However they miscalculate and end up on Mars instead.
Now that's a bit absurd but let's go with it for now.
The crew consists of four men and one woman:
The Ship designer, Dr. Exum,
Navigator, Lloyd Bridges,
Engineer Major William Corrigan,
A beautiful chemist, Dr. Lisa Van Horn
And a (get ready to die) extra.
On Mars they find remains of a Martian city and surprise, surprise they looked human in form. It is determined that they destroyed themselves using Atomics. They discover a few other Martian goodies and not ...
Advantages: Touchscreen, gps, 8GB memory, low price Disadvantages: Below average camera quality
An excellent smartphone from nokia. My experience so far is nothing but pleasant, the sound quality is great, the gps works very well. The symbian OS adapted for a touch screen is a little bit difficult to handle in the beginning, but after a while its very simple to use. The camera quality is a little bit below average, but the video capture mode is very fluid. The battery life is quite good, both in standby and in use. You can use the phone for music playback, web browsing during an entire day, without having to worry about running out of battery. The phone dimensions are similar to the n73, although the 5800 is a little bit slimmer. There are other models in the market with better features than the nokia 5800 XM, but in general this smartphone offers a very good package, for a very resonable price. ...
Advantages: Lightweight, excellent picture quality, ease of use, hot-shoe for attachments Disadvantages: Manual isn't so helpful. Not so good with low-light conditions.
Myself and a few friends came up with a few ideas for short films and at the time we used my old Sony HC14E camera (before it was stolen in a burglary!). We called the HC14E our crash-cam as it certainly was put through the war-zones (paintball matches, in-car shots, drops and even ran over!). I decided I wanted something a bit more professional and decided to go for the Canon XM2.
My first thought on this camera is it's size and weight. It's small enough to pack into a rucksack, and it is light enough to be used and carried for a whole day without straining the users arms or hands.
I just couldn't wait to get my hands on this camera. I opted for a finance option as payment and as soon as I knew my forms had been recieved and ok'd I was jumping every time the doorbell went. I certainly wasn't disappointed!
The 3CCD design (Red ...
