Solid follow up from the Iphone 3G

Advantages: Improved speed & battery life
Disadvantages: Camera still lacks behind competition

Apple have improved on the Iphone 3G on their latest masterpiece, the Iphone 3GS. As well as all the advantages of the original Iphone such as a great user interface, superb internet capabilities & the ability to download an application for almost anything, the 3GS offers some new features. I would say the most obvious is the improvement in speed in general, you can definetly notice it when opening messages and using the various different applications. Also the battery life has been slightly improved but not hugely. Other improvements include a slightly better camera to just over 3 megapixels which is the only disappointment as it still lags behind the competition & there is still no flash or zoom capabilities. Also added is a video camera facility with the option of editing the videos on your device. Another improvement is a compass ...

Review of Apple iPhone 3G S (3GS)

Apple iPhone 3G S Review

Advantages: The speed (which is an extreme advantage).
Disadvantages: It get's really hot and stops working

The other day I bought myself an iPhone 3GS. I've since been playing around with it and loaded it with tons of applications that I will review later. The "S" definitely stands for "Speed". If you have used an earlier version of the iPhone, you'll really feel how much faster the 3GS is compared to the 2G and even the 3G. It just works. Web browsing is also way faster in comparisment to the earlier iPhone's. Its new hardware 3D-rendering is amazing for games with advanced graphics such as "Assasin's Creed" and "psx4iPhone", the Playstation emulator. There is one problem with it though; it sometimes gets really warm and stops working. This is a big issue that I really hope Apple will replace every iPhone with this problem. In my opinion, you should hesitate to buy the new iPhone until they fix the heating problem; otherwise, it ...

Review of Apple iPhone 3G S (3GS)

iPhone 3G S will have you stunned!

Advantages: It's advanced technology and huge variety of features.
Disadvantages: The very low and quickly decreasing battery life.

The iPhone 3G S is an amazing piece of palm-sized technology. It has everything you could possibly ask of a mobile phone (except Blue-tooth data exchange), and much more! I was shocked at it's ease of use considering its a smart phone! However, although it does have a few new features from its predecessor, the iPhone 3G, but it didn't seem as much of a technological breakthrough considering the transition of the original iPhone to the iPhone 3G, which is one of the reasons I gave it 4, and not 5 stars. First of all, there is the biggest thing about the iPhone 3G S, is the addition if the S to the title. It stands for speed, and they're not lying. I compared my friends iPhone 3G to my iPhone 3G S, and I noticed how much quicker internet pages load, applications load up, and even basic things like sending a text (which may have been due ...
