IBM IBM POWER5+ 1.5 GHz processor board

Advantages: Robust, Reliable, Give out EXcellent Performance
Disadvantages: Could be a Little Cheape

...I have brought load of these IBM PC's for my work, the specifcations of these are; * Intel Pentium 4 3 GHz Processor * 40 GB ATA-100 Hard Disk drive; DVD-ROM drive * 512 MB of DDR SDRAM Memory * Microsoft Windows XP Professional They pretty good and robust you cant fault them as they are really reliable and they never seem to stop work or brake down. What is really good with these pc thats its really easy to get inside the pc as you need no screw drivers to undo the screws as there is no screw on this case. All you to do is push catch in and then slide of the side panel its that easy. The expansion slots that it has are, 4 x memory - DIMM 184-PIN which good loads of slot to keep ungrading your memory, 3 x PCI - three-quarter-length to add any extrax graphics card of usb ports or etc, 1 x AGP 8x - three... ...The configuration I use is : 2x Xeon 3.6GHz/800MHz (1MB L2 Cache), 4x 512MB ECC 133MHz SDRAM,48x-20x IDE CD-ROM drive, Dual Broadcom 5721 Gigabit Ethernet, ATI Radeon 7000M, IBM 5U x 24in Tower To Rack Conversion Kit ,5x146.4 GB 10 000 rpm Ultra320 80-pin hard drive,Serveraid 7k SCSI raid card, Remote supervisor Adapter II card. Operating System provided by IBM as well ( part number 90P0221) Microsoft Windows 2003 Server, Standard Edition. Packaging and manuals: Server is very well packaged,rack conversion comes with explanation for conversion, but the whole conversion is not intuitive at all.Picture provided in installation instructions not very helpful. Advantages: well built Structrualy and performance is decenct.
Disadvantages: could do with a bit more ram to 512 and shifted up to 1.5 hertz

...The Ibm laptop i will say is a good laptop with well laid out display with easy access to all ports and also the quick functions on the keyboardallowing youto change setting right away instead of going through all of windows, plus the little bonus of the ibm thinlight nice little touch. Disadvantages i feel for this laptop is that you get little memory like 256 come on ibm the genral user need 512 of ram and give us a pocksey 256 but easy to upgrade that part. as for the 1.4 ghz speed its good for the genral user but if you can get the higher up modles for a few hundred more best to go with them. I will say though they are buit well structurally.... Read review
