A Model Book

Advantages: Good story, good twists, entertaining
Disadvantages: Poppy did whinge a LOT

I'm forever browsing Amazon for the latest book releases to try to find something new that catches my eye, and I've been lucky lately because there has been quite an influx on new books on to the market this summer! As usual, I've been keeping my local library in business lol, and the latest one I've taken out is "The Model Wife" by an author I've not read before, Julia Llewellyn. It sounded good, and I looked forward to reading it, so here's the review. Poppy Norton is a bit of a cliché, even she admits it. She was unlucky in love until she met News Presenter, father of 3 Luke Norton. The two begin a relationship on the sly, and accidentally Poppy falls pregnant. Luke decides to leave his wife Hannah to set up home with Poppy but soon finds out life with a young model and their newborn daughter doesn't quite match up to his twenty ...

Review of The Model Wife - Julia Llewellyn

Nokia 6500 slide

Advantages: Good mix of features including high end features like 3.2MP autofocus camera and TV-out
Disadvantages: No wifi, Slight overheating

The Nokia 6500 slide is a slider phone released in early 2008. It was announced in 2007 as part of the Nokia6500Series - which also includes the Nokia 6500 classic which has slightly less features. The 6500 series with its stainless steel design proved to be a success, and led to the 6600 series (consisting of the 6600 classic and the 6600 slide) and the as yet unreleased 6600i series. --- the BASICS --- The 6500s is a 3G phone characterised by a stainless steel design. It has some advanced features like an autofocus Carl Zeiss 3.2MP camera, TV-out connectivity coupled with the bread and butter of other phones including FM radio, turbo 3G internet, multimedia player etc. It runs on Series 40 operating system and is not a smartphone (i.e. it does not support 2 or more applications running at the same time). There is about 20Mb memory ...

Review of Nokia 6500 Slide

Slip 'n Slide 6500

Advantages: Great quality with all the latest features, generally awesome!
Disadvantages: Keys sometimes don't respond

NOKIA Nokia is a multinational telecommunications company. The business was born in Finland in the 1960's and is now a worldwide manufacturer of mobile phones. Most people remember the old classic Nokia 3210, quite heavy with its redeeming feature being snake. Since then Nokia has come a long way and I've had several Nokia phones in my time: the good old 3210, a 6210 which was originally intended for business and had a huge memory, a cute 6233 with a 2megapixel camera along with many other features, and finally a 6500 slide. WHY/HOW I GOT IT A couple of years ago a company called 'future phones' called me and I set up a contract with them for a 6233 on the 3 network. I previously had an LG 3 phone, which I loved, but it had broken and it was time for another. When my contract with the 6233 was about to end I was contacted again ...
