Megapix V10 - Reasonable To Use

Advantages: Expandable SD Card slot, easy/intuitive to use
Disadvantages: Picture quality not always "sharp", and battery consumption high

The Megapix V10 is a decent little camera. It is not a "high end" 10 megapixel camera by any means, but it is great for day trips and weekends away. Picture quality - when the picture is in focus, the quality is great. I found that night shots were always slightly blurred / out of focus compared to other cameras I have used. There are three settings - macro (close), standard, and infinity (distance shots). It does take a short period of time between pressing the button and taking the picture. This can be annoying as your subject matter has often moved slightly. But it then displays a quick image of what you have taken before reverting back to the normal LCD display so that you can see if your shot was any good. You also have to hold the camera quite still. If you move as the shot is being taken it can blur the picture. If ...

A Model Book

Advantages: Good story, good twists, entertaining
Disadvantages: Poppy did whinge a LOT

I'm forever browsing Amazon for the latest book releases to try to find something new that catches my eye, and I've been lucky lately because there has been quite an influx on new books on to the market this summer! As usual, I've been keeping my local library in business lol, and the latest one I've taken out is "The Model Wife" by an author I've not read before, Julia Llewellyn. It sounded good, and I looked forward to reading it, so here's the review. Poppy Norton is a bit of a cliché, even she admits it. She was unlucky in love until she met News Presenter, father of 3 Luke Norton. The two begin a relationship on the sly, and accidentally Poppy falls pregnant. Luke decides to leave his wife Hannah to set up home with Poppy but soon finds out life with a young model and their newborn daughter doesn't quite match up to his twenty ...

Nokia 6500 slide

Advantages: Good mix of features including high end features like 3.2MP autofocus camera and TV-out
Disadvantages: No wifi, Slight overheating

The Nokia 6500 slide is a slider phone released in early 2008. It was announced in 2007 as part of the Nokia6500Series - which also includes the Nokia 6500 classic which has slightly less features. The 6500 series with its stainless steel design proved to be a success, and led to the 6600 series (consisting of the 6600 classic and the 6600 slide) and the as yet unreleased 6600i series. --- the BASICS --- The 6500s is a 3G phone characterised by a stainless steel design. It has some advanced features like an autofocus Carl Zeiss 3.2MP camera, TV-out connectivity coupled with the bread and butter of other phones including FM radio, turbo 3G internet, multimedia player etc. It runs on Series 40 operating system and is not a smartphone (i.e. it does not support 2 or more applications running at the same time). There is about 20Mb memory ...
