A Model Book

Advantages: Good story, good twists, entertaining
Disadvantages: Poppy did whinge a LOT

I'm forever browsing Amazon for the latest book releases to try to find something new that catches my eye, and I've been lucky lately because there has been quite an influx on new books on to the market this summer! As usual, I've been keeping my local library in business lol, and the latest one I've taken out is "The Model Wife" by an author I've not read before, Julia Llewellyn. It sounded good, and I looked forward to reading it, so here's the review. Poppy Norton is a bit of a cliché, even she admits it. She was unlucky in love until she met News Presenter, father of 3 Luke Norton. The two begin a relationship on the sly, and accidentally Poppy falls pregnant. Luke decides to leave his wife Hannah to set up home with Poppy but soon finds out life with a young model and their newborn daughter doesn't quite match up to his twenty ...

Review of The Model Wife - Julia Llewellyn

Nokia 6500 slide

Advantages: Good mix of features including high end features like 3.2MP autofocus camera and TV-out
Disadvantages: No wifi, Slight overheating

and bottom ends of the phone. Because of this implementation the phone is heavier than other phones of similar size. This material, however, looks nice and is very fashionable. There is also a black version available utilising blackened stainless steel. (Sound and Multimedia) This phone runs the standard Nokia multimedia programme, with most video and picture formats supported. Sound playback is of adequate standards with the included 2.5mm headphones. The phone supports microSD and the maximum size of cards available and recognised for the 6500s is currently 4Gb (It supports all microSDHC). (Internet and Messaging) The internet works well as it supports turbo 3G internet browsing. This allows speeds of upto 3Mbps when browsing - in reality it is around 1Mbps, which is reasonable. The browser is clear enough but there is no cursor built-in so ...

Review of Nokia 6500 Slide

Slip 'n Slide 6500

Advantages: Great quality with all the latest features, generally awesome!
Disadvantages: Keys sometimes don't respond

doesn't end it! You need to press 'end call'. So watch out before you make any comments when you think you've finished your conversation :P The ONLY qualm I have about this phone is that sometimes the buttons don't respond and I have to press them a couple of times to get to where I want. This usually occurs when I'm spelling a word to put in my messaging dictionary. Maybe I just have a problem with the buttons, but it does get a little annoying. ROBUSTNESS I've had problems with a lot of my phones when I drop them. One which was especially bad for this was my Sony Ericcson which would turn off if I even bumped it lightly against something...meaning I had to take the battery out, replace it and start the phone up several times a day. With the Nokia 6500 this problem has ended! I must have dropped it on hard floors at least 5 times ...
