Advantages: Good specs, fast, wonderful extended warranties Disadvantages: Feels a bit flimsy, no indicator lights showing wifi connection, etc.
. My husband really enjoys this laptop for playing games, but that is not the laptop's main purpose for him and anyone who wants a gaming machine probably needs to do some research.
It doesn't have indicator lights showing when the hard drive is working or when wifi is connected or when it's running on battery power (like my old Dell Inspiron does). Some people hate that. One of the biggest plus points for me is that the phone is sturdy, and quite heavy. This means it sits comfortably on a desk or table without being pulled all over the place by the cording.
