Advantages: Good Value for money, attractive design Disadvantages: No DVD drive
...This computer look aesthetically very good in a sleek black colour with unique IBM black casing, and for most desktop applications will work very well while remaining stable. The Celeron D processor is a resonable speed giving fast loading speeds and supporting the more processor intensive applications.
The main disadvantage with this machine is that it doesn't have a DVD drive as standard, although these can now be purchased for as cheap as £10.00 if you look around on the internet (www.ebuyer.com is a good one!). As far as the high power demanding games go, the Celeron processors and intel boards are quite sufficient for most of your needs when combined with a reasonable graphics card.
Overall recomendation: Great computer if you are on a low budget, or looking for something to build up on and improve over time!...

Advantages: Value for money, stable, efficient, quiet, simple to install, very compatible... Disadvantages: Lack of top end Clock Speed
...As installed on the machine I am using to write this review.
Admittedly this processor does not pack the punch of say.. an athlon 64 X2. But when you have this chip on something like a nice Foxconn 945G7 and a couple of DDR2 Gig sticks.... who can complain?
Are you the kind of person who leaves your PC on all night? The the quiet, power minimulist, secret performance wizard might just be for you.
This processor provides a nice combination of stability and performance whilst remaining competitive in price, but the best feature of this particular product is the noise and power.
Noise? What noise.... this processor is darn near silent.
What about installation?
Simply drop the CPU in place and push the heatsink down onto the board... The pins on the underside of the sink Click instantly into place. This is adult meckhano at it...
