IBM Pentium III 933 MHz processor

Advantages: Reliable
Disadvantages: Cost? ( see opinion )

...tag given to Intel processors is somewhat unjustified. For example my PIII 600 in May 2000 - cost £240 running at 800mhz. An 800mhz PIII at the time was approx £500, enough to get a top of the range graphics card and change. Admittedly there are some "hidden" costs to the overclocked version e.g. a good quality mainboard, roomy case for good airflow, and a better heatsink, but I think that these are good practice in building any computer, the other minus is there's no guarantee that the processor you get will sucessfuly overclock. I would however still recommend the Pentium III, it's a good, fast and stable processor even when pushed towards it's limits.... Read review

...P III consedar a Good Value For Money as it still fast enough speed performans on oparating sys win xp Exce. win 2000 Exce. win me Exce. win98 & 95 good. although the user fell that system work faster on 98 & 95 pecause win98 &95 on loud ned less than 1/2 prosesing power as in win xp. throug start up in my openyan PIII conseder mor valu of mony than P4 spechyaly for ordenary home user . altho i yous P4 in my grafic wark station and use PIII in my home desk top & my labtop system which i use for sending @mails and prwsing some web sites P4 provides Great new tecnology for giving user very high speed for wark station , grafic desiner , servers and usrs which need high speed in compresing or rendring pectures and moves whic need the highest speed avelaol on market... ...The Intel Pentium Processors, says they have power...have they? 1.AMD and Pentiums are the same, aren’t they? I mean, they all have the same numbers, right? Not always, even though the numbers are the same, it depends on how efficiently the processor works. Personally, I believe Pentiums work best. 2.You are just saying that so that people don’t buy AMDs, right? Not at all. For instance, the is an Intel Celeron range and a Pentium III range. The extra money that makes the Pentium III more expensive is spent on developing the efficiency of the processor so that you get the very best it has to offer. Celeron is a make that is less reliable and has not been tuned to perfection even though they are still very reliable. 3.Why do you think AMDs are less reliable?
