Advantages: Can regularly check blood pressure at home and help give peace of mind
Disadvantages: Not good if you get over-anxious about health.

...Due to the fact that heart disease and hypertension (high blood pressure) seems to run in both our families, my wife and I decided to purchase a home blood pressure monitor. We weren't looking for any particular make and we ended up with an ibp, which seems to do the job very accurately. In fact I believe probably more accurately than when I've had it done in the doctor's surgery, because when one is usually visiting the doctor, it is with the anticipation (maybe subconscious) that something may be wrong and this sort of stress can elevate the blood pressure indicating a problem where there isn't one. At this point, you may think I'm being a little paranoid or even a bit of a hypochondriac, but I don't think so. Advantages: All Purpose

...the wallpaper peel off even easier than a purpose made wallpaper stripper. Laminate floors also come up a treat when I run the steam buggy over them and not only that but again anything it comes into contact with gets sanitized due to the sheer heat of the steam.
