We've all got dragons

Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: Try and find some, I dare you

Yes, I do apologise profusely, I've regressed to being a child again, which is why I'm reviewing a book aimed at 6 year olds! Or it could be because I needed a present for my younger foster brother...the first idea is more interesting, I'll stick with that! Either way, whichever one you chose to believe, this is a children's book that I was well impressed with. Boring Stuff Title: You've Got Dragons Author: Kathryn Cave, Nick Maland Publisher: Hodder Children's Books, 2002 Price: £4.99 supposedly, but £12.99 on Amazon ISBN: 0-340-85158-9 The text is done by Kathryn Cave and the illustrations by Nick Maland Age Range Although the book is aimed at an age range of about 6 years old, it can be used for just about any age group, including adults (that was more to make myself feel better!). The younger the child, the less they ...

You've Got Mail: Better than Sleepless in Seattle

Advantages: Funny and well acted.
Disadvantages: Slightly cheesy and predictable.

and the love-hate relationship work. I found myself drawn into the film and really hoping that things would work out. There is a slight anti-climax feel to the film after Kathleen's shop closes and the ending is slightly predictable but these are minor negatives relative to the overall film. For me, the best aspects of this film were the comedy and the suspense. Blurb on back cover of video = "Three little words. Three rapturous words that Joe Fox (Tom Hanks) and Kathleen Kelly (Meg Ryan) long to hear: You've Got Mail. Superstore book chain magnate Hanks and cosy children's bookshop owner Ryan are anonymous e-mail cyberpals who fall head-over-laptops in love, unaware that they are combative business rivals. Greg Kinnear, Parker Posey and Jean Stapleton add perfect support to this modern day romance. You've Got Mail ...

I've got Views

Advantages: Very good chemistry between the stars
Disadvantages: predictability

there's the film! The two of them (Ryan and Hanks) have obvious Chemistry on screen and remind us why Sleepless was such a huge success. They play their roles fantastically. The supporting cast is well chosen, especially those that play the main characters partners. Their roles supplement the stars very very well to give a wonderful overall performance. The film *is* predictable, no-one would deny that and I won't here but despite that it is very enjoyable and I do recommend it. it certainly did not deserve to a) bomb at the box office b) receive mass criticism for not being it's de-facto predecessor. In a nut-shell if you liked/loved Sleepless then watch this, I will almost guarantee that you at least enjoy it if not love it. Or if you just like the sound of what you've read then give it a spin, otherwise you had probably ...
