Design:
The iRiver is thinner than before! Apparently it's appoximately 15% thinner. With its slimmer package, it simply exudes style. The weight is perfect and fits into my pocket without producing a noticeable bulk. However, it seemed a bit small (yes, it was TOO SMALL for me). In my hand, I felt I couldn't really hold it properly.

The black is simply sexy. The color coordinations are just simply chic. The large screen is great for Clix's features - video, slideshows, games, etc.

Audio:
I'm totally loving the music part - the sound quality is just awesome... Several music formats are supported which is just such great news. Also, this is my first player where I can actually read the lyrics whilst listening to the song, thanks to the iRiver LDB manager. I also have fun being DJ by controlling the playback speed of the song.

Photography:
The formats supported are limited - only non-progressive JPEGs. The Clix also does not really make full use of its viewable area.
Other than this, the Clix is superb. Keeping up with the other players in the market, Clix allows slideshows with wipe and fade transitions. It's 2.2" Active Matrix OLED display makes everything vibrant and stunning whilst saving more battery power than a standard LCD.

The Clix is also great for videos. The shows are quite smooth. Though I have experienced some lagging.

General Use:
Usage of the iRiver seemed complicated at first when I first read about it. But when I tried my luck with it, it was surprisingly easy. I find the controls were sensible, quick and easy. However, I did have to memorise the buttons at the back of the player. At one point, I was constantly flipping over the Clix to check.

The Clix simply amazes me with its package of features. The only thing missing from it is wireless connection. Anything else you want, it's highly likely that it's in the Clix.

Recommendation:
Yes, I think that the Clix is a great player. I actually feel, iRiver can challenge the other more mainstream brands such as Apple with this player. I have few complaints about it and those complaints, only minor ones.
