A few months ago I was baffled with the horrible question of which MP3 player to buy. I had bought 3 smaller MP3's ( with about 128Mb) in the past and all had broken within about 4 weeks and had to ask for my money back. So this time I decided to go out and spend a little bit more money. I went around a did a little research bbefore I bought and looked at other MP3's of similar size. I wanted a durable MP3 player that could hold around 800 songs, looked good, didnt weigh me down like a brick and had a few other extra features and so I feel in love with this one.

6 months later and unlike my other MP3 players its still working without even soo much as a scratch. Its got great sound quality and the sennheiser earphones you get with it add to the experience. The menu used to navigate the MP3 is easy to use with a selection of music, text, photos, radio, recording browser and settings. Its also got a colour screen and is nice to look at. You are provided with a protective case an i have dropped it a few times without the cases and it still works fine without any damage to the bodywork. The software used to transfer music from your computer to the Iriver is quite easy to use and has an automatic transfer and optional manual transfer - although over the past few weeks I have had trouble with the auto function in that it has started transfering my whole library instead of just the songs that arent on my MP3 - the MP3 can store around 1250 (5gb) which is a decent amount of songs.

It can also store pictures although the quality is quite poor and difficult to see the detail of the picture. The radio feature normally has great reception and you can record songs from the radio without taking up great amounts of memory, the recording are good quality too as long as you stay in signal of the radio station. There is also a text feature tat aloows you to store writing documents ( although I wudnt suggest you read a novel from it )

Conclusion - This Mp3 is great value for money and has features that rival the other companies selling MP3's in this range. I bought one and I don't regret it soo if you are thinking about buying one get one too I don't think you will regret it either.
