Advantages: Good value, looks good, seems reasonably well made Disadvantages: Probably not suitable for high performance tasks such as graphic work or gaming.
I needed a budget PC to replace an old one which had died. I also needed it in a hurry, and IT247 delivered the Acer E7300 the next day even though I'd only selected standard delivery which was great! The PC worked fine out of the box and after three weeks of daily use I've had no issues with it so far. I don't do any heavy graphic work or gaming so the performance for my usage is fine (certainly a massive improvement over the one that died!). It ... ...a DVD R/W drive and a multi card reader for various types of memory cards. The PC came fitted with Windows Vista Home Premium, but with an option to upgrade to Windows 7 once it's released. I'm not sure when Windows 7 is available so haven't taken up this option as yet. I would certainly recommend this PC to anyone who just needs a standard non-high performance machine. I purchased a Kodak easyshare digital camera and memory card last month, the delivery of the camera was held up a little because of the availability of the memory card but after just one phone call the camera was despatched and received a couple of days later with the memory card following shortly afterwards.
