emmerdale Advantages: great tv Disadvantages: a little slow moving at times Emmerdale is a soap orera set in yorksire so is a farming rural area. Emmerdale used to be quite slow moving and quite boring but over the recent years has improved a lot, there story lines are better and there are a lot more cast members aswell. The latest story line in emmerdale has been brewing for a few weeks now since the death of baby daniel, baby daniel died of cot death but they also during the post mortum found that he had the gene for ... ...his mom or dads family meaning they must have been given the wrong baby, there baby is still alive somewhere. USA USA! Advantages: Watching AMericans receive some home truths Disadvantages: The wannabes....dreadful! A good few years back now we all couldn't believe it when Will Young beat Gareth Gates to win Pop Idol...and then followed the myriad of shows in the similar format....100,000 contestants, narrowed down to twelve..then to one... We have changed our format in the UK and now have the X factor, which is managed by Simon Cowell....America has kept with the 'Idol' format and is now in its eigth season managed by Simon Fuller...but led by ...Simon Cowell!!! ... ...joy that it brings to my viewing on ITV2. We start each season with the audition process. Deeley and Redmond an awake pair Advantages: goos saturday morning entertainment for all Disadvantages: non The follow up music programme viewed by the UK after smTV. I always watch this show because I roughly want to see who is number 1 that week and also to find out the latest music news and information. PRESENTERS The show used to be presented by Cat Deeley and Ant & Dec but they left so it's now Cat Deeley and James Redmond (ex hollyoaks star). There are rumours that Cat could leave soon but she will hopefully stay for a while because she ... ...is that they are always so lively and cheery in the morning and look as if they love their job. The other good thing is they are so friendly with the famous people so most stars ask to come on the show because they love it. I personally think Ant & Dec did present better but James and Cat seem to get on well and also ant & dec have moved on to bigger and beter things. And The Winner Of American Idol 2009 Is... Advantages: Fantastic talent, Usually the Top 12 are all fantastic Disadvantages: None really, some of the auditionees are pure awful. One of the things that really gets on my nerves is reality shows, especially the likes of Big Brother as it’s full of nobody’s and for the past what 5 years that X Factor has been going, I enjoy the audition round, but that is about it. However since 2003 I believe it was, I found myself addicted with the American version of X Factor/Pop Idol, called American Idol. What is the difference between American Idol and X Factor I hear you asking? Talent ... ...site who watch American Idol will agree with me, the talent on American Idol during the Top Ten bit of the show is outstanding and you really do find yourself struggling to choose a favourite, there is your odd awful singer that somehow gets through, however no BAD singer has won the show, unlike X Factor.
