The oldest reality programme still going strong
Advantages: Harry Hill addds his own humour with great effect, it's always funny to watch other people Disadvantages: Recycles old clips over and over, most clips seem to be American, some clips look painful
...Been Framed is shown on ITV on Saturday night. It was Jeremy Beadle originally presented the show and he has been superseded by a whole host of other celebrities (including Mandy Dingle out of Emmerdale), but none of them were nowhere near as good as the current host, Harry Hill. The main reason for this is the different styles in presenting. Previous presenters did a lot of studio work and actual talking between the clips (and in the case of Jeremy ... ...and I am sure that ITV do nothing dodgy but I am sometimes a bit sceptical. Maybe they should bring back the funniest clip competition or the naming and shaming the scammers.
The variety of clips on the show is great and I think it is this that has kept it going for so many years. You’ve Been Framed does not just show sporting disasters (unlike Aunties Sporting Bloomers) or animals (unlike The Planets Funniest Animals) or children or any other individual ...

Family entertainment at its most cosy
Advantages: None Disadvantages: Crap
Sunday evenings, peak hour, family viewing, ITV, the forum for plebs everywhere, operating at the lowest common denominator and effortlessly churning out bland family entertainment at its most wholesome and cosy without so much as a crease disturbing the oh so smooth exterior.
Institutions rarely come more dull and unremarkable than this and the rustic charms of the Yorkshire Dales certainly have an awful lot to answer for - you've got three stupid ... ...attractive sheep in Emmerdale and most tedious of all the combination of the faceless, those lacking in charisma, the feckless renegades and the upholders of moral rectitude in Aidensfield which make up the epitome of family entertainment - the one, the only, the drably dull, Heartbeat.
A crap and dull series revolving around a 60's Yorkshire village and its homely police force, which progressed serenely on when baby face Nick Berry moved on to ...

That's Livin' Alright!
Advantages: Great classic comedy and easy to buy on video and DVD Disadvantages: The BBC versions, especially Series 4
...This programme was originally on ITV (as the header indicates) and it was then repeated on Channel 4 in 1996 and then in 2002 it was revived for the BBC. A Christmas special is currently being filmed but it's difficult to say what will happen now with the sad death of Pat Roach.
Here is a synopsis of the show and an episode guide and then I will tell you where the videos can be bought from.
"Auf Wiedersehen, Pet" began in 1983 on ITV with a 13 ... ...Tyne (Dennis, Oz and Neville) set off for Germany in a desperate attempt to find work, and in Oz's case to have lots of fun. They eventually get a job in the German district of Düsseldorf, where they meet, and share a hut, with other building workers from across the U.K. This series chronicles their antics and lives during their six month stay abroad.
The series starred Tim Healy as Dennis, Jimmy Nail as Oz, Kevin Whately as Neville, Pat Roach as ...

This is not my home town, its not that Grim
Advantages: Great comedy, Amanda Holden!!! Yum, Yum. Disadvantages: Paints a gloomy picture of Dudley
The Grimleys is set in a little Black Country town called Dudley. This is my home town and although i wasn't around during the punk era of the late seventies (probably just a twinkle in my mothers eye), i can safely say from the views of my parents and their friends that Dudley never was as bad. However, the Grimleys is such a good program that i could excuse a drap picture of my town.
We are now in the second series of the Grimleys and the comedy ... ...the wannabe hero and after disposing of Dynamo Digby in not so tasteless style (he died impaled on a javelin), he now has Geraldine Titley (Amanda Holden) firmly in his sights. Gordon is now the new student teacher at his old school. That struck me as weird but it must have been the way in those famous seventies. After waking from the coma in which she had been in for a few years, geraldine is straight back into work and has her sights on the new ...

Spellbound by Spellman
Advantages: Really good Disadvantages: none
Sabrina the teenage witch is one of my favourite TV shows. You can see this program on Sky Tv on the Nickelodeon channel and on ITV. This program stars Melisa –Joan Heart, Catherine Rhea and many others.
This show is about a teenage girl,Sabrina Spellman who finds out when she is 16 that she is a witch. During her teen hood she has to do tests, which help her when she is 18 to get her witches licence.
My favourite character is Sabrina’s ... ...FRIDAY 13TH when Sabrina gets to tell a friends that she is a witch, Sabrina tells Valerie and then she tells Harvey. Then she takes them from our world to the other realm (where witches come from) and has lots of fun but at the end of the day they forget. Sabrina never feels the same about them again. It is a really good show don’t miss it!
