This programme is possibly THE most irritating thing on the telly yet what am I doing now? I am watching it! noooo!! If only I could reach the remote to turn it over! Having just completed another run of the show, I thought it was about time to put pen to paper (or finger to keyboard) and give my views on this latest makeover programme. Better Homes (I’ll not keep mentioning it’s Carol Vorderman’s) is a bit like Changing Rooms on speed. The Mick and Les Batasbey dispute

Advantages: alot of people watch it
Disadvantages: story lines last to long

i don't think violents like the beating les got should be shown that early on in the night as young kids are still up and alot of them do watch coranation street. Mick should not get away with it either as it makes the police look bad in real life because we all know it goes on and this just prooves it. it was like the richard hilman story line that went on for months and towards the end people were starting to get bored with it. you should do it ...
...or 2 at the most. it is like the peter barlow story that is now just over a month this has been going on and the story line is starting to put people off, i talk about the programs at work i know of at least 15 people that have stopped watching it as it is now boring them and i am not far behind them i have posted my opinon on the internet and had alot of replys so i know i'm not alone with this one. ...

Review of ITV - Coronation Street

60 mm.

Advantages: helps out people, well edited
Disadvantages: quality of work

Personally I enjoy programmes like 60mm. I love to see the outcome or the house and the joy the people see whan they are surprised with the makeover. The show is well edited and gives a lot of detail of what is going on and the things they are doing. Its also a great show because you can see what can be made out of an awkward or un used space. ...wall where the wallpaper is bumpy or not lined up properly. Personally if that was me I would be extremly greatful for the makeover but then to have the hastle of sorting out dodgy painting or wrong wallpaper would take the edge of it slightly. I give this show 8/10 ...

it will be tears if they dont like it!!

Advantages: your house is done for free
Disadvantages: what if you dont like it!

I started watching 60 minute make over on my very rare days off, for those who haven't seen the programme and team and a designer go in a make over up to 4 rooms in a house depending on the size for the owners. The makeover doesn't cost the home owners any thing apart from tears if they don't like it! And for one of them its meant to be a surprise.. The programme is presented by Claire Sweeney the girl out of brookside and who later went onto Broadway! ...
...watch and shout at every one when the time is up. The only thing I can really say about Claire is some times she is over dressed and doesn't get her hands dirty…. To be honest I didn't believe they did it in 60 mins but they do, however I then watched this morning and Claire Sweeney let slip a few secrets that us viewers didn't know about.
