So ITV Digital have gone bust, and maybe taken 32 football clubs with them. To some people that might not sound a lot but when the league has 92 clubs in it, it's a lot.
I still have an ITV Digital box, but ITV can't pick it up cause they have no money. I'd like to stick the box somewhere that ITV Digital's directors would not like, but that's my opinion.
ITV Digital were trying to do something that no other company has tried to do. Sky has a better service than ITV Digital had, and you got more channels from Sky for the same amount of money.
ITV Digital didn't care about it's customers. With digital boxes that froze on the slightest knock to the rubbish variaty of programs. The service was very poor. No wonder it went bust.
ITV Digital thought that football would save them from going bust. So they decided to bid to show the football and won the rights when they said that they would pay £300 million+ over 3 years to show Nationwide League matches. Now football clubs won't see any of this money cause ITV Digital went bust. This will see many football clubs go out of business as they have made plans for the next 3 years on what they were going to do with the money that ITV Digital were going to give them.
Some of the sales reps were bad as well. Pace Technologies, who made the boxes, should have lost the contract to provide them as they were so bad as you rightly say.

Thank goodness I didn`t invest in an ITV digital system - I was tempted! Paul.

The League cannot let 32 clubs go bust. They will be rescued wait and see. Besides, I dont blame TV for it. I blame the 22 greedy sods playing on the grass every Sunday afternoon on your Sky Sports channel for the demise. If they were not demanding such rediculous sums, there would not be this problem occuring.
