I hate this show soooooo much it hurts 3 of 4 Ciao Users found the following review helpful
Rating from Pillsbury 3 Stars ()

Advantages Denise and, erm... Rachel, Jo and Hannah from the S Club 7

Disadvantages I'm not gonna bother

It is so sickening to watch this programme - especially the second part, where you see the manufactured pop groups climb further and further away from the rest of the pack, as at every stage you hear pre-teen girls screaming for Ronan and Westlife. The real talent in the music industry comes from mostly American acts like Green Day. We have Oasis, Stereophonics and the likes, but they don't get recognised due to the sheer number of "teeny-boppers."
I personally have nothing against the music of acts like Britney and Robbie Williams - they are personalities. What I do object to is Westlife, who were told off for smoking a while back, and other bands like them.
The record of the year is just another event in the calendar that celebrates Westlife's supremacy is the charts. Oh, how their fans will look back in a few years and think to themselves - "how could i have been such a complete ****?"
The upside is seeing Denise Van Outen showing off as much as possble. That's some consolation, i guess.

Whats wrong with Westlife and S-Club 7 and Steps? They must be good coz sell lots of records...SO much for logic. Keep listening to the good stuff. I'm and old git and this is always the situation. It the fifties you had Matt Munro , Bobby Darin and Cliff Richard, in the Sixties you had Des O' Connor , Ken Dood and Cliff Rchard, in the seventies you Brotherhood of Man, Paper Lace and Cliff Richard, in the eighties you had Bucks Fizz, Huey Lewis , Paper Lace and Cliff Richard, and you can remeber the nineties..
