    I, Alex Cross I, Alex Cross, is another crime thriller from James Patterson, featuring Detective Alex Cross whom we were first introduced to in 'Along Came A Spider' back in the early 90's. In this novel which was first published last year, a member of Alex's family is murdered and the case catapults Alex into a very dangerous world. I'm not entirely convinced that this review is in the right place because it is for the audio book and the other reviews are for the written book. But when I search I, Alex Cross Audio Book it comes back with this listing and when I've tried to add the audio book with Ciao, they have told me it is already listed here! So sorry, but there isn't much more I can do! Enjoy the review, thanks for reading. If any of you have read my recent book reviews, you will know that I have recently entered the world of audio books and my latest ‘listen’ is I, Alex Cross by James Patterson. Advantages Advantages Easy to read, hard to put down

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Ending was disappointing, really shallow tale

    I must confess to having lost track of the chronology of Alex Cross books, the plots melting into one with the only difference seeming to be the name of the main villain. James Patterson makes no bones about the easy to read nature of his books, and the fact that they fly past does mean that a week later you're likely to have forgotten a large amount of the plot. I, Alex Cross has a plot that hits the ground running, literally as we get a short chapter following a young girl who is running for her life through the woods. We then flip to other action as first of all the plot reveals a secretive ... more

    Advantages Advantages Excellent writing skills, emotional characters & page turning chapters

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Another book with a few similiarities

    ~~~I, Alex Cross by James Patterson~~~ I really enjoy reading books, depending on my mood I either like crime thrillers or a good girlie book. Over the years I have become a big fan of James Patterson's books in-particular the Cross franchise since reading Kiss The Girls. Personally I enjoy reading his books because of the balance Patterson shows between Cross's close knit family, complicated love life and fascinating job catching prolific serial killers who have committed some of the worse crimes imaginable. Patterson has written many books in the Cross franchise following the established ... more
