The Product
Iams is recommended for small to medium size dogs although they also offer this same food for large adult dogs. This food comes in a green bag; please ensure that when you are buying this product that you read the bag as the packaging is the same for both small to medium and large. Iams is available in bags of 1kg, 3kg, duo pack 6kg and 15kg. The food itself is small brown biscuits (about the size of a 5p), which have a very subtle smell. There is a feeding guide on the bag. This is useful as you will know exactly how much you should be feeding your dog and not feeding it to little or to much. To begin with my dog loved this food but after a while they wouldn't eat it. I guess that's because they like to have a change once in a while. What the product promises
Iams states that it reduces tartar build up by 32% compared with leading wet food. My dog used to be fed wet food which was not doing anything good for her. Teeth were always dirty and she ended up putting on a lot of weight. Iams Promotes superb skin and coat condition. My dog's coats did improve and became shinier.

Overview In my opinion Iams are a good alternative to wet food as you can control your dog's weight much easier. Also Iams does everything it is claimed to do unlike some dry pet foods.
