Ibanez TS9 Classic Tubescreamer

I am using the Tube Screamer with a Gordon Smith SG2 (great guitar) and a 65 watt Marshall JTM60 valve combo amp. With the TS9 on, I'm able to play great sustaining solos, and crunchy riffs, which sound better than they ever did before with only my amps built-in distortion. If you want a lots of distortion, then you can put the drive knob all the way up, but don't forget that the TS9 is an overdrive pedal, and sounds best when the drive knob is put around 1-2 o'clock. If your looking for an overdrive pedal that will instantly beef your sound and make you cut through the music when you take a solo then this is for you.
