Icecream maker

Advantages: looks pretty
Disadvantages: big machine, small capacity, complicated compared to other machines

My son bought me this because my previous ice cream maker had died. I have to admit that the first time we used the machine the ice cream was delicious, but since then it has been used very little. As with other makers, you have to put the bowl into the freezer before using. Disadvantages: Plastic painted silver finish becomes badly scored after 1st use

I bought this as it was good looking and was supposed to be chrome or stainless, depending on whose site information you read. It is PLASTIC painted silver. It arrived yesterday, and on first use, cosmetic fracture lines appeared on the top of the machine radiating out from the ice cream bowl.
