Advantages: Good Size Disadvantages: Poor Quality Control
...We bought this freezer for Iceland and thought it was a bargain. When delivered, the lid was misaligned and the seals were ineffective. This was not caued by the delivery men and looking at the protective packing, was not damaged during the delivery from the manufactrurer. After a coulpe of calls, we had the replacement delivered three days later and it looked OK. When opened up there were missing parts, a basket an paperwork, so we took the ones from the original freezer.
After a few days use we noticed that the freezer interior was icing up in one corner at the tpo near the seal. Further inspection showed that the lid was not sealing correctly in that corner.
The lid is adjustable by indiong a couple of screws at the rear and we managed to rectify the seal problem.
Since then it has been operating perfectly. Great size...

Advantages: fantastic "Auto Cook" facillity (see review),full combination functions, an awful lot of choice. Disadvantages: You will certainly need the instructions-which are poor(!),oven times etc inaccurate, possible to undercook, terribly difficult to clean.
...I purchased a Sharp R955 Microwave back in 2002 from Iceland in Wolverhampton for £249.95 and took out the Iceland Appliance Care for five years. I purchased it because I needed to upgrade my previous microwave which was a Panasonic dual micro/grill so that I could use a Microwave instead of using a gas cooker-most of my food is frozen. So the appeal of cooking from frozen certainly appealed.
The R953 is a a Catergory E 900w microwave with a grill and a convection fan oven. As it is a "combination" it can be set either manually or automatically to cook food using the microwave/grill and oven-hence the term combination. It has a stainless steel interior, two removable wire shelves and a large cermaic plate.
A stand for grilling Chicken Joints etc is also supplied.
The Oven has settings for 250 C, 230 C,200 C,180 C,160 C,
130 C,100 C...

Advantages: Spacious and quick to freeze. Disadvantages: None -it's fab.
...I bought this model last friday (27/08/2004) and I do believe it has been one of the best puchases I have made.
Unfortunately my old freezer finally gave up the ghost and broke down the week before, so on we went to iceland to pick up a new one.
Little did we know but it was their summer clearance sale - hurrah!
We picked this little baby up for £119.99 and took it home in the back of our ford fiesta (see my fiesta review).
It took little over half an hour after plugging in before it was fully operational and ready to freeze.
It has a very efficient fast freeze section at the top of the freezer, which I have found excellent for ice cream and things needing freezing fast (as it implies!)
The indicator lights at the top front of the freezer are useful for checking the progress of the freezer and alerts to any faults with a red light...

At first glance you would assume this game is aimed at young children. It's bright fluffy characters, cute storyline and magical scenery are like something out of a a confused child's dream. But as you get into it you realise the puzzles are more... more
Before I start this review, I guess it makes sense to answer the most obvious question anyone is likely to have when reading the title; what exactly is a Yoshi? Well, a Yoshi is a little dinosaur famed from the Super Mario Brother adventures, known... more
