For graphics and DTP applications that take up a lot of screen space, a large visible diagonal makes life a whole lot easier. The ProLite H2130 provides a very generous workspace of 21.3 inches (54 cm), coupled with a physical resolution of 1.9 megapixels (1600 x 1200 pixels). Fully equipped with professional-standard features such as six-axis color control, 10-bit gamma correction and the iiyama ii-style color software, this model also includes setting adjustment options that will bring a smile to the face of every graphics expert. The ProLite H2130 commands a 176° lateral view angle, has a rotating panel and features two DVI-I signal inputs.

Over a decade ago I was a poor student shopping for my first ever PC. I knew what I wanted - a 486 processor running at 25MHz, 8Mb RAM, 200Mb harddrive and most importantly an Iiyama 14" monitor.
Sadly the wages department of the hotel restaurant I worked through that long and tedious summer dictated a few small changes. The PC eventually became a 386 processor running at 40MHz, 4Mb RAM, 120Mb harddrive and no Iiyama monitor. Instead of the Iiyama I had some rebadged monitor with a huge curve and a low refresh rate. The Iiyama was the first thing to drop off the list as it saved the most money.

IIyama is definitely one of most recognized and respected both CRT and LCD manufacturer,( for Windows and Macintosh)
and that places it above other producers on market because of it's expirience,
and japanese origin. Sometimes people say that company that is focused on one specific item makes better
stuff and if it comes about IIyama i can fully agree.
External look
IIyama vision master pro 1413 17" is simple monitor without addons like speakers or tv tuner and is
available in cream (white) color ( some other models comes in black or silver ).
Unusual design creates a picture of massive and solid construction and reminds me an oval cut in half.
Monitor is put together very well, all joints fits perfectly. Even being a low budget product still

So, to sum up: this is a great monitor but it goes back quite a way. If you have the room then the Iiyama Vision Master Pro 513 could be a good choice. If space is a priority then LCDs are improving all the time....
