I bought 1 of these on Ebay, though it was the slightly more expensive version with touchscreen abilities. I wasn't expecting much from it, but blimey was i impressed. The screen itself is very stylish. It has no speakers which i feel is a benefit and just looks very classy sat on your desk. The 1 I own is black with blue backlit buttons and the blue is a lovely cololur that looks not too bright at night but still visible in daylight. These continue the feeling of class. After pluggin it in and switching it on you will instantly realise why you spent so much money on a 15" screen that was only capable of 1024x768. This screen totally rocks. The colours are almost pantone perfect and the edges of fonts are crystal clear down to the smallest font size possible. I'd definately recommend it for any form of publishing or word processing work. A lot of graphics boffins will tell you a CRT is best for graphic design and photographic work, but this flat screen will surprise even them. It may not be as good as a similarly priced CRT for graphical work, but it is by far one of the best TFT out there. There is no ghosting which is very good for gaming and the available viewing angle is fantastic. None of that inverted lights and darks when you move your head, it stays almost perfect from anywhere. Now the downside is that the power supply is mounted inside the casing. This is not an issue if you dont have a problem, but if it does break then the screen will need to go to a specialist for a new 1. Well thats it.. if you want a nice small screen then go for this or another of the iiyama range.
