Having had a trio of dodgy reconditioned Pro 451s I've so far been very happy with the performance of the Pro 454.
Size wise it’s nice and large with an 18” viewable screen which is totally flat. It has a max resolution of 1920x 1440 @ 85Hz. One improvement over the 451 is that it can run at a resolution of 1600x1200 @ 100Hhz and so avoids eye strain from prolonged use. This is the resolution I mostly use.
Picture wise you couldn’t ask for more. The screen is nice and bright, colours are excellent and text is clear and sharp. There are plenty of adjustment options to tweak the display further. These are found using the buttons on the base and are easy to use.
It has a built in powered 4port USB 1.1hub which I’ve used with many peripherals without any problems.
The monitor takes up quite a lot of space and is quite heavy.
On occasion the screen does need readjusting when powered on.
The onboard speakers are 2x1 Watt so are ok for office use but next to useless for games or music.
Overall I’m very happy with this monitor. I’ve yet to see whether I would get a brand new replacement should this one fail. Going on past experiences with Iiyama’s support I expect I would.

Advantages: Sharp Picture, Flat Screen, High Resolutions, Speakers on the front. Disadvantages: Takes up a lot of space on a desk, 2 thin horizontal lines going across the screen
