I've had my Iiyama Vision Master Pro 513 for a couple of months now and I'm dead chuffed with it. I've always shied away from LCD or TFT screens partly because of the price and partly because of the latency (think of it as 'shadows' that are left behind because the screen cannot change the images quick enough.) CRTs are much more capable of very high refresh rates, much quicker than the human eye can perceive! This monitor is no exception with a maximum refresh rate of 180Hz (the image changes 180 times a second!) and the human eye is only theoretically capable of seeing somewhere around 25Hz, but purists will say that the faster the better.
Image quality of this monitor is top notch and the maximum resolution (picture detail) is a whopping 1920 x 1440 and that's still at an impressive 75Hz. This is ideal for many professional needs such as web design or CAD but also a dream for the avid gamer who wants as much detail as possible when they frag another player. It also lends itself well to watching DVDs or AVIs because of the sheer size of it, nearly as big as a reasonable TV in the living room! :o)
All in all, a good monitor to own if you can spare the desk space as it is physically quite big. This won't fit on any old cheap desk from Argos but fits on my large Ikea desk (about 2ft deep or so.)
Here's some other info: Tube 22" (20" viewable) DIAMONDTRON NF-CRT, High-Contrast, Dynamic Focus, Dual Focus Gun, Anti-Reflect and Anti-Static Coating (ARASC)
There's a lot of specification here, but precious little in the way of opinion, I thought. Any one can look up the scpecifications, but personal experience and opinoin is much more difficult to find.

TFTs do it for me, I need the space and worry about energy use. its true though, CRTs do give better res but it won't be long before TFTs catch up. as for price, my first TFT, an Iyamma 15 inch was £400 (at trade price) the next a 17 inch was £250, now you can get 19 TFT for less then £150

Afraid I wouldn't swap my TFT for anything now. Picture quality is so much clearer. Good review. Belinda
