This is the third wardrobe I have bought from IKEA, and by far the best! The reason this is the third is that the other two simply fell apart! IKEA can be a bit hit and miss sometimes when it comes to a sturdy product, but this series is certainly that.I bought two wardrobes, a chest of drawers and the large bed from the Aspelund range almost two years ago, and the drawers and wardrobe are still as new. The bed, unfortunately has needed reinforcing due to the slats constantly falling of the side support rails meaning that you end up on the floor! Slats aside though, and the bed frame is solid.
Back to the wardrobe, and the storage space is adjustable to allow different spaces inbetween shelves, an adjustable lower shelf and an adjustable rail. The mirror has stood the test of time, as has the venier, which again is not always the case with this kind of product. The outer trim, the decrative top and the well shaped legs make it look that little bit different to most of the square dull wardrobes in this price range.
Assembly was simple enough, but be aware that you need quite a bit of space as you will needto lie the wardrobe down for part of the building. The only problem I have found is that with the sides being solid to the floor, moving the thing can be tricky, but obviously this isnt that important!
To sum up, this is a solid attractive wardobe, with plenty of other items in the range to complete a really nice bedroom suite. If you are buying a flat pack wardrobe, you cant do much better than this one.
