Ikea is a store that is not too close to us, and so when we go, we spend the day and end up spending a small fortune. Ikea are are a store that sell lots of homeware products from furntiture to furnishings and even some swedish meatballs!

Ikea's childrens range i think is second to none with great, well designed products at very reasonable prices. This Forsiktig stool is no exception.

We orignially bought this stool to help our son reach the toilet and sink for potty training, but it has become more than a stool, so well worth the £2.03 that we paid.

The stool is made from plastic, white in colour and a blue coloured rubber, that helps for grip, in the form of bumps on the surface of the stool. IN some areas of the country, this stool is recycalbel due to its plastic nature, and the dimensions are as follows:

Width: 37 cm
Depth: 24 cm
Height: 13 cm

The anti-slip cover in the shape of these blue lumos helps the person using the stool to grip, and on the underside of the stool there are 2 strips of the same material, making it non-slip on the surface that the stool is standing. It is advisable to use the stool on a flat surface for maximum safety. Our house having stone tiles is an ideal surface, (providing my son doens fall and crack his head!) and a carpet is fairly safe.

Cleaning this stool is very easy. A damp cloth with warm soapy water will work well, and the odd spray with a detergent of bleach wont do any harm every now and then, especially handy if its main use os going to be in your toilet!!

No, although this childrens stool is to aid you children becoming a little taller, i have used it as a saet on occasion and is also very handy if i need to get something out of a high cupboard and cannot reach!!

I have also found it a great exercise tool. Although probably not recommended, this makes a great stepper. I am yet to trip or fall, but i probably shouldnt advertise this use and recommend it, lol!

Due to its size, shape and weight, this is easily transportable and has 2 holes at either end to be picked and moved about. It often sits in our boot for outings somewhere!

In conclusion, due to the nature of the product and the price i can do nothing but give it 5/5. Although it is only worth the money if you are close to an Ikea or are going there for something anyway!
