We have lots of these Ikea Kalas mugs/beakers tumblers at work for the children to have their snack time drinks from. They have no handles the base is slightly smaller than the top. These mugs will contain 20cl of fluid more than ample for a drink of water or squash. They are quite light so easy for a child to hold.
The mugs are made from BPA free polypropylene plastic and are unbreakable; ours do get dropped many times so they have to be. These mugs are very durable ours have lasted several years now. They are dishwasher and microwave safe, we wash ours by hand.
These mugs are in a range of 6 colours that match the Kalas plates and bowls which are also available. The colours are blue, yellow, green, orange, pink, purple the colours not especially bright. The different colours are useful so a child can identify his/her cup and handy for supporting colour recognition. The mugs are stackable each one fits into another so take up little storage space.
They come in a six pack and only cost 99p which is great value. I think they are ideal for schools also for home fantastic for drinks in the garden or on a picnic. If you want a cheap every day mug then these at just under 15p each are very good value. Yes I would recommend them.
